We just had our first meals here and we will definitely be back! Their food was delicious , service was excellent loved the atmosphere and the owners were darling! I give Oak street 10 stars ⭐️ a must go!

Ordered our regular take out go to: Sticky chicken fingers with hot sauce on side and onion rings. Usually very good. That’s why we get it time and again despite the price being a little steep. This time, chicken was overcooked and onion rings were chewy and seemed like they were made with just the outer rings of the onion. Quite disappointed this time. New cook? We’ll be a while before we return.

We Traveled to Maine for Friends and Family Luncheon Gathering at the Oak Street Bistro . Our Maitre'd' James Escorted us to our Table. We placed our Drink and Appetizer order with our Waitress Marie who was Awesome ?!. Appetizers: ? Onion Rings, ? Shrimp Cocktails, Bruschetta, ? French Onion Soup, Fish Chowder ?, Caesar salad with Grilled Chicken and ?Bang Bang Shrimp ? they were Delicious and the Drinks were Ice Cold ❄️. Now to the entrees ?Baked Haddock, ? Scallops and Penne, ?Steak Tips, ?Filet Mignon? and Sticky Chicken Tenders everyone enjoyed there Meal ?. But don't forget the Dessert and let me tell you that the ?Homemade Bread Pudding ? was Excellent as was the?? Homemade Cheesecake ? and Cream Brulee ??. The Service was Great ? and our Waitress Marie was Awesome ?. Highly Recommend Oak Street Bistro!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A nice gem of a place in Alfred Maine to get good food at reasonable prices. The place is easy to get to with plenty of parking. The service was very good and the bathrooms were clean. I and my dining partner enjoyed the following meals:
Fried Haddock Fish sandwhich with fried onions and an iced tea.
Haddock fish tacos with French Fries.
I highly recommend this place to get a good meal !!!

Never thought I would use the words Legendary and French Dip in the same sentence. You'll be hooked. Steak tips were both prepared and aged perfectly. Service was spot on and atmosphere is vibrant and fun. Great place for first dates, in my opinion.

Not my favorite place. We were done with the ren fair and just wanted to grab something on the way home so we stopped here. Getting seated didn't take long but once we sat down things slowed quite a lot. We got our drinks then we're ignored for a while and finally got our order taken. Took over half an hour to get our food. And then the food wasn't great honestly. I got the flat bread and the sauce was weird tasting, the chicken was grisly and overcooked, very dry. All the toppings just slid ride off the bread and the bread was pretty flavorless and dry. My friends chicken was ok but mostly bone. Nothing was terrible but it was very mediocre especially for the price they charge for a lot of it. The waitress we had was very kind and I think did her best so I dont blame her at all. Just overall not a great experience.
