Currently eating their bacon corn chowder as I type this lol. SO good. Day off today even but my coworker and I get the soup of the day at least once a week and it never disappoints. The loaded baked potato, the chilli, the hamburger soup.... And more. Absolutely delicious. And the WINGS! I got some for my man and they looked and smelled amazing. He loved them. Have tried a hot roast beef sandwich and that was *chefs kiss* as well. If you like a nice variety of decadent food at a great price....call them up.

If you’re in Anson, Maine, Don’t miss this restaurant! ! The food is tasty and fresh, with generous portions .I initially planned on getting takeout, but when I saw the outdoor patio, I changed my mind.
The view next to the river is absolutely amazing and adds a special touch to your dining experience. If you’re in the area, this spot is definitely worth a visit!

Mum was celebrating her 80th birthday and chose The Kennebec Cafe to have her birthday dinner. First time for any of us here and they didn't disappoint!! While the inside dining area is small, the food and the service is huge!! Weather permitting they have a newly built back deck to dine on while you watch the river pass by. Don't drive by this place and not stop, the food is scrumptious and the menu has quite a variety... something for everyone! We will be back?
Vegetarian options: I loved the "Avocado", large slices of scrumptious bread with fresh avocado, fresh mozzarella, fresh spinach and fresh tomatoes with a balsamic glaze heated to perfection! I could only eat half! No worries they have take home boxes!
Parking: Plenty of parking right off the road, easy in and out.
Wheelchair accessibility: Mum is in a wheelchair and we could maneuver her to the inside table and restroom if needed. Too cold to check out their newly built back deck overlooking the river. Next spring/summer here we come!
