There's an obvious correlation with recent reviews and the person at the grill. She would have been happy to let my food get cold for 50m if I hadn't asked about it. I was just sitting in the waiting benches at the front, being patient because the person ahead of me had ordered a lot. Nobody heard her call out, not even the lady in there with her. Zero effort after whispering my name out the side window or whatever she did, not her problem. And it really would've been fine but she gave attitude when asked about it.
It's deliberate negligence, and not someone you want to trust with your food.

I love stopping her for a tasty snack or sweet treat! My favorite is the loaded tater jugs, so delicious 😋. I went with my kiddo and we each got a small ice cream, although I wouldn't call the portions small! The ladies running the place are sweet and attentive. There's usually a line, but that's just because it's so good and worth waiting for.

Stood outside looking at the menu , waiting for the counter lady/person for 10 minutes, she finally came to ask our order, we a started to order and was told quite rudely that the grill was now shut down it was 622 pm , we asked why and was told , rudely again, oh the grill closed at 620, 2 minutes ago. We've been standing here for 10 minutes, rudely again, sorry grill closed at 620. I don't usually give a bad review but this lady and place is truly a special place. Unbelievable!

When I stopped by on Saturday, around 12p, the place that was supposed to be open at 11a wasn’t. There was no sign alerting the public that they chose not to be open and serving their yummy maple ice cream. Maybe next time.
Love this place and its staff! Always make it a point to stop on my way to and from the lake! Amazing food and amazing people!

Ice cream here is very tasty, portions are very large. Many types of flavors are offered. Lunch and dinner options are available also. Can be quite busy on nice days. The indoor seating area is closed indefinitely here. Service is generally quick most of the time unless it’s busy.
Parking: A small parking lot is available here fits several cars.
Kid-friendliness: Great to bring kids here to get some ice cream. Within walking distance of most places in Ashland.
