Went in last night with my children around 8pm and stood at the window for almost 10 mins while the employees proceeded to clean up and attempt to close an hour early. They blatantly acted like they didn’t see us there, when they finally did come to the window it was nothing but condescending attitude..after we got our ice cream and sat in the car, another man went up to the window and they did the same thing to him. He had to knock 3 times before they finally came to assist him. I’ll definitely stick to Fielder’s Choice from now on.

I consider myself an ice cream connaisseur and this was good. The soft serve was creamy and delicious, though it seems the machines might have trouble keeping up with the heat or demand because it was already so soft before making it through the window.
I got cherry dip which seemed like it may have needed a stir before it was dipped, but it still tastes great.
Prices were reasonable and staff was friendly. Service was quick even with a small line. Good selection of soft serve flavors. I would return if in the area.

Parking available in their lot or on the street. Been enjoying their fare since the nineties and always have to visit when I’m visiting from out of town. Love it here tho sundaes can be hit or miss. Just be sure it looks right before you leave, especially if you paid for extra toppings.

Went today on Mother’s Day when it’s known to be busy and there was 1 young girl left to work all by herself with a line out to the road. The owner should have been there helping if there was no other employees to help. Do better, don’t preach about treating your employees kindly when you can’t be bothered to do so yourself.

for 10 summers now ive enjoyed having the Auburn DJ just 3 blocks away - but it seems im going to have to venture in the car this year if today's visit is any indication of the season to come .. as a previous ice cream scoopper and career in retail customer service - i am appalled and saddened at what has become of this once fun and friendly local summer tradition - the new menus are IMPOSSIBLE to read - even standing directly under them - the stark black dividers and covered - constantly closed - windows is very unwelcoming and at times appears closed - an apparently new ordering system had the girls making 3 mistakes in a matter of 10 items - the people behind us got their parfait & sundae before we got our parfait and mix in - we were all confused trying to figure who the order belonged too - hearing the manager berate her workers directly in front of customers about keeping track of orders - this made me very uncomfortable for the young workers trying their best - my boyfriend had an incredibly hard time eating his smores parfait .. i was unable to ask for something to help with the mess as all the windows are covered and closed - being opened only long enough to shove an ice cream out with a vocal description before being slammed closed again - and the cherry on top! my mix in cup was cracked and apparently their cute sticker was supposed to make it better! i didnt realize it was there until it melted all over my hand and pinched my finger .. i went to ask for another cup to slip it into - but had to knock on the covered closed window first!
im hoping it can still come back - but for now it looks like this may be the end of a sweet era

I went to the dairy joy in Auburn the other day they I ordered a banana split in a cup with extras they didn't tell me they were out of vanilla ice cream and started making it with out telling me they were out I over heard them tell the person after that ordered a Sunday they were out of vanilla so I went up to the window and said I ordered a banana split and just heard your out of vanilla and hope u didn't put chocolate or strawberry in my banana split and she gets all mad and say well he can come back here and make it then when my friends Ice was done she puts her ice cream out the window and slams the window in her face with attitude and the other young girl said to her stop being like that you can't treat people like that she makes my banana split ice cream at the bottom all the toppings at all stuffed in there with no bananas I was so pissed it was because they were about to close worst experience at any ice cream place I paid 9 bucks for and ended up throwing it away what a joke and worst customer service if u don't want to make ice cream maybe you need a new job

I‘ve been 3 times since they opened this year to get a shake and every time its barely 3/4’s full! They literally swirl the shake around to make it look full before they hand it to you! Will not be going back!
