Favorite Mexican restaurant. Taste like actual Mexican food, prices are great too. Portions are huge.

I come from Boston, which has some of the best Mexican restaurants in NE. El Tequila in Auburn, ME has by far the best drinks & the most authentic Mexican food. Why would people go anywhere else? I have been here 10 times! Macs for steak, El Tequila for Mexican!
We've been here about 7 times now. The food has been delicious each time. Full disclosure- I picked right for my taste the first visit so I've had the Pollo Hawaiian each time since! My guy usually gets one of the burrito options, but not always. The drinks have also been good. Only complaint we've ever had is with service once.
very good food and very generous portion sizes, that's why I always am barely able to finish my food (although they do offer boxes for you to take it home)

we went for lunch today and were really pleased with the quality of the food, the excellent service and the unbelievably reasonable prices. what a great spot. we're definitely going to come again.
We have been four times and the drinks and food always come out great! � staff is friendly. I also love the giants suns on the walls!

We were sat down immediately with no one In the restaurant and then no one came over for 20 mins so we got up and left
Hands down the best Mexican cuisine in Auburn. Great cocktails as well. During this visit I had the Shrimp tacos and a Pina Rita, both were delicious! They have some of the best refried beans. I enjoy their salsa. Service is a little slow, and our server seemed to struggle with speaking English. Overall, we have a great experience every time we have dined here.
