KP's Place is our go to spot for fried seafood and chicken. Everything is always perfectly crispy and delicious. Seriously the only chicken I want to eat in town. And we go to the coast a ton in the Summer, but come back to Auburn to get scallops and haddock. Honestly the best and most reliable seafood! Whenever we have family over from out of state, the first stop is KP's!

The food is fantastic, honestly, doesn't even feel like it's fried with how light the breading is! The seafood stew is my all time favorite, and the fried pickles and cheese curds, try them! The atmosphere is inviting and tastefully decorated. The employees always say hello and goodbye, and are quick to get food out!

We had seafood stew. It contained 75% shrimp and a mix of other seafood. It was a soup not a stew with no seasoning. It was very bland. Their fried food looked good.

EDIT 10/11/25 Have gone last 2 Saturdays and both times the portions were noticeably smaller. The second picture is the same $16 clam strip snack box as the first (bought on a weekday, with different staff). I understand it was a 'snack' box, but I could count the number of clam strips without using all my fingers. So, if you don't count the fries, I paid about $1.50 per clam strip. When I left, I was not satisfied and ended up in a BK drive thru. Gonna be a long time before I go back.
