We had seafood stew. It contained 75% shrimp and a mix of other seafood. It was a soup not a stew with no seasoning. It was very bland. Their fried food looked good.

EDIT 10/11/25 Have gone last 2 Saturdays and both times the portions were noticeably smaller. The second picture is the same $16 clam strip snack box as the first (bought on a weekday, with different staff). I understand it was a 'snack' box, but I could count the number of clam strips without using all my fingers. So, if you don't count the fries, I paid about $1.50 per clam strip. When I left, I was not satisfied and ended up in a BK drive thru. Gonna be a long time before I go back.

These guys have the best fried chicken in Maine. Hands down. They boast generous portions, well seasoned melt-in-your-mouth chicken, and friendly (and quick) service. I enjoy their friend mushrooms, onion rings, and haddock too, but their chicken is truly what stands out to me. We are from an hour away but we go to KP's Place all the time. It has a very homey atmosphere; we love that the same woman takes our order every time and remembers us. Oh, and they don't skimp on sauce, which I really appreciate.

We are from Pennsylvania and googled best place for lobster roll. We ended up at KP's Place! The service was wonderful. The food was delicious! Everything was perfect! The clam chowder, lobster rolls, the chicken. My kids rated the chicken, the best ever! When we return to Maine to visit, we will most certainly be back!

I was hesitant cause it looked closed . Glad I tried the door . I had fried clams , haddock and shrimp . The food was so good ; I had to stop myself from ordering more clams lol . . Fairly priced and good portions
