Fast, clean, and delicious. Ideal for a quick dinner.
Food was good, portions are the right size for the price. I got the Wyatt Earp and it was delicious. My only complaint is that I shouldn’t have to eat my sandwich with a fork. The bottom bun soaked up the juice from the sandwich and fell apart before my first bite. Don’t over load a burger bun. Other then that, it was a great experience.
Really a good local steakhouse
Always great! Friendly staff, great food, great hometown atmosphere. The bar area is where it's happening!
Great food and atmosphere. Sat at the bar and really enjoyed the others at the bar and the wonderful bar tenders. The gentleman to my left was the owner of another competing restaurant....and he and his son liked Mac's Grill.
Fun place to eat in Auburn. Waitress never returned my cash difference, but she may have been confused cause everyone else paid with CC with our large group of folks. So she got a bigger tip! Which is OK.
Great place, great food

Had the hamburger special, burgers are thin and hard to get the cooking temperature right. Tends to be too rare, seems like they are either well done or medium rare. The staff are friendly and the building is nice.
Wheelchair accessibility: The building is multi level with large steps therefore only certain levels are wheelchair accessible

Went last week 16oz ribeye melted in mouth, garlic mash potatoes wonderful. Went there tonight, but I could not cut with a sharp knife, even harder to chew. The garlic mash potatoes tasted as if you were only eating garlic powder. Fortunately they did not charge me for the meal. Wait staff was great. I guess it's hit and miss.

We sat at the bar with Am B as our bartender. My husband ordered an Arnold Palmer and I ordered a diet soda with light ice. When I got my soda, it tasted funny. When I mentioned this to the bartender, her reaction was “OK”. She never offered to get it from a different tap or check to see if maybe there was a problem with the syrup. I asked for ice water with extra ice. She served me light ice. There was another young girl bartending who was going around the bar checking in on customers. When she got to the gentlemen sitting next to us, they were having a private discussion about how she went to three different high schools and was a troublemaker while going to EL. We were the last two sitting at the end of the bar. She completely skipped over us and we had to flag her down for her attention. We each ordered taco salad and requested the side of guac for an extra $3. I also asked her for extra ice for my water which she provided. When we both got our taco salad and tasted the guacamole, both of us didn’t like it. It was evident the guacamole was not fresh. It did not have a fresh taste, no cilantro flavoring and tasted a little sour to us. When we asked for our bill, we requested to get the guac removed from the bill. I barely ate mine, but my husband had eaten half of his. The response we got from the young bartender was “this is our guacamole and there’s nothing wrong with it”. We explained we didn’t like it because it had a funny taste and she repeated “this is our guacamole. There’s nothing wrong with it”. This young bartender also confirmed it’s not fresh and they buy it from an outside source. She then went to Am B letting her know about our complaint. Am B came stating the same thing as the younger bartender. We explained it’s not fresh and her response was “we don’t advertise it as fresh”. Am agreed to remove one from the bill and my husband said “It’s not worth arguing over $3. Am stated “I’m not arguing”. When a customer isn’t happy about something, I feel the approach to the complaint should be forgiving such as “I’m so sorry about that”. Let me try the soda and see what might be wrong with it”. Please don’t ignore or be on the defense like these bartenders were. On a separate note, the guy next to us ordered a steak with mashed potatoes. When a steak is brought to you, the person serving the meal should ask the customer to cut into the sink to make sure it’s cooked to the liking. This man’s steak was rare, and he was complaining to the gentleman next to him how bad his steak was. We typically love Mac’s Grill and have ALWAYS received exceptional food and service when we go in the evening. This was our 1st time for lunch. It was a disappointment.
