Went there early for dinner . Walked in was seated right away ! Then waited 25 minutes for waitress and no one came ..there was one family eating and no other people..after 30 minutes we walked out ! Very disappointed 😞 sorry can't rate food when you didn't get to actually eat !

I have not been here in years. Loved it many years ago but we stopped going when it became not so good. Tried it again today. Ordered seafood chowder. They were the best at the chile chowder competitions . Anyway not so good anymore.. not thick like I remember it . And fish and shrimp overcooked and tough.

My family went there for Thanksgiving dinner. We had reservations and the 8 of us were seated immediately. We then waited 20 mins to be waited on, my grandmother had to go and ask someone. Mind you it wasn’t busy as it was later in the day.
We finally were waited on. My son never received his lobster stew he ordered, refills for drinks were never offered and mu grandmother asked for butter and never got it. We were never checked on.
We got desert that came with the meal and waited another 10 mins after to ask for our bill.
I never complain as I have waitressed and understand the difficulties especially when busy. They weren’t busy. We arrived at 2:50pm and never left until 5:00. My younger kiddos did exceptionally well. Our food for the price was mediocre which was disappointing as we had ester there and it was great.
We spent a total of $200.0 not including tips.
We decided to go out because my mom passed in September and our last Holiday meal was at Village in and we had a great Easter meal there.
Sadly the atmosphere was not welcoming, the service was inadequate and the food was not satisfactory. Hate leaving such a bad review but what we thought was going to be a great time turned into a long wait and was not what we had hoped for.

Not the same place it used to be. Service people all seemed like it was a chore to seat and wait on us. Ordered the seafood platter, which was way overcooked and rubbery. Later in the day the whole family had GI issues. Will not return.

The lobster stew was good with big chunks of lobster. Not to thick but very tasty. The lobster roll was perfect. It wasn't too big buthjad lots of lobster meat. The drinks were very good and a wide selection.

Great dinner! Price was good and food was all amazing! I need to go here more often... it's tucked away from the main road so I forget about it.

It was good. Pretty much what we expected. Chowder was a little too liquid for what we like, but that is our preferences

We ordered the Fisherman's platter and Fish and chips. Both were greasy and without flavor.
I would recommend Gorton's Fisherman over either of the meals we ordered.
