We took a trip down to Bailey’s Island today. At first we were disappointed that Cook’s wasn’t open. But then we discovered Sun-drenched. In a word, OMG! I ordered the lobster BLT. IT WAS SOOOOOOO GOOD! Apparently bacon is now fried pork belly and what have I been missing. Lots of lobster, topped with lettuce, mayo and perfectly cooked pork belly. Who knew! My hubby had the haddock sandwich which was also good. If you travel that way, it’s just after the causeway. And it’s dog friendly.

Nice ambiance and views. Staff were very friendly. Food and beer felt overpriced for what we got but only place around open on Tuesday. French fries were very good. Would like to see less plastic.

Friendly staff, excellent food best lobster I've had on the trip. Scallops were fantastic and the cocktails were great.
Also take a walk admire the bridge and the shoreline after.

I can’t believe that I haven’t been to this gem of a restaurant before now! I was greeted by two different people when I entered - a server (woman, I didn’t get her name) and one of the chefs who had stepped out into the bar/dining area for a moment. The server was very helpful in explaining how to order and the young man at the register was friendly and polite. I ordered the Beet Salad and the Seared Scallop Tacos. The view from my table was amazing. My meal came out pretty quickly and was beautifully presented. But even better, it tasted so delicious! I sent my thanks to the chef because I’ve eaten at a lot of the local restaurants, and Sundrenched is a head above the others. I’ll be back, and I’ll bring friends!

Parking: There are spots directly in front of the restaurant as well as across the street. Probably 15 in total.

We ordered takeout. The fish tasted fishy, the scallops were soggy, and the french fries were moist. For the amount that they charge for these meals, they should be perfect. Taking advantage of being the only place open after Labor Day.

I wish I could give a higher rating. The place is nice, has a beautiful view. I like the way they take orders and you pay up front. The service is good. However $35 for four seared scallops that did not taste especially fresh was unacceptable. All other dishes we ordered were “drenched” in a ponzu sauce which was just too much. The shrimp , the ahi tuna tacos had great potential but were way overly sauced. If you go ask for the ponzu on the side. Nice place, I don’t mind high prices but the scallops were just a huge disappointment. I’ll try them again and order different dishes.

The employees were very friendly! The portions were a great size, not skimpy. The food was seasoned well! The fries are AMAZING! My grandparents raved about the lobster rolls!

A FIVE STAR lunch stop at 'Sundrenched' on Bailey Island during our trip to Maine. Super food and great staff. Take a look at the photos of the lobster roll, chips, and pickle; vegetable salad and fried haddock; and the incredible shrimp salad. The entire menu is attached. If you're in the Brunswick-Harpswell Islands area, you have to stop here for a bite. Highly recommended!

Location is fantastic. Staff friendliness is excellent. The monkfish was not properly skinned and had a lot of impossible to eat dark skin still on it. Also, the breading was not fully cooked, so it was mushy. I see great flavor and prep ideas, but attention to detail was lacking.
