We are visiting Bangor for the first time and selected 11 Central for my birthday dinner based on Trip Advisor reviews. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We sat by the front windows near the bar and heard fascinating conversations throughout the evening. My husband ordered the pork chop with carrots & green beans in a chili honey sauce. This entree was stellar with a tender pork chop and flavorful veggies. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese over a petit filet mignon. The mac and cheese was so good. The filet was a bit overcooked (I ordered it medium) but still had a nice flavor. Great ambiance and dining experience.

Wow such a wonderful restaurant. The vibe, service, food and drinks were next level. The elk corn chowder and Lamb Bolognese were nothing like we've had before.

A lovely place to eat with excellent service, a great atmosphere and very tasty food at a reasonable price. There's a very good selection of varied dishes and drinks. I ordered a pork chop pizza and it was huge! And also full of flavour. Thankfully they're happy to box food up to take home. I will definitely be going back to try something else.

Go prepared to relax and enjoy the atmosphere because the service is not fast. But the food is good, so it’s worth it if you’re not in a rush. The steak with Gorgonzola sauce was excellent.

Went for dinner alone- Sat at bar -very comfortable with plenty of space for eating and a bit of privacy. Prompt service and attentive staff. Sea bass was delicious.

Elk chowder is always my favorite and the chicken cordon bleu is DELICIOUS. .... my ONLY gripe is I wish they took reservations for parties of 6 or more ♥️

If you're not the owners friend.. RUN AWAY!! I don't do negative reviews like this but this one REALLY deserves it. Service SUCKED. They gave our 4 top away to his friends twice so we sat at the bar and gave our 4 top to a family with a baby. All were served and ate well before we even got all of our meals at the bar 2 hours later. One in our party never received his meal before the other three were done with theirs. He refused his meal, wanting to go and relax. Owner blamed us for ordering 2 bowls of soup...why the rest took another 3 hrs. Oh and we had to ask for the soup 3 times! If you're not a friend of the owner or the bartender GO ELSEWHERE.. THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS!!!

TOURIST BEWARE! Our meal took 2 1/2 hours to get to us. Very rude Owner and Horrible service. We were told no reservations but then they jumped groups that showed up after us to sit before us (2persons at a 4 top ..we were a 4 top) Food would have been good except not everyone at our table received their food. Then they finally put the last order in when the other 3 were done eating. 4 top tables that sat after us were served and left before we even got close to getting our meal. Talked to the Owner and he blamed us because we ordered 2 bowls of soup as an appetizer. The owner said it was our fault we did not get our food in a timely fashion. Also, we had to request the 2nd beer from the bartender but would have had another or 2 if asked. won't be recommending for anyone... locals or tourists.

We LOVED it! The food was excellent! I had scallops and pasta, the scallops were cooked perfectly. My husband had their special - a filet stroganoff. Again, perfectly cooked. The salads were also very fresh and crisp. Service was also great - overall an excellent experience!

Sometimes simple is just better. Getting away from tradional cooking with out changing the name can lead to disappointment. Also I am a senior, since I was old enough to go to dinner on my own I have rarely found anyone who knows what a med steak should look like.

A Bangor Gem! Perfect for date nights or dinner with friends! Food was absolutely delicious. I got the 8oz filete which was so tender, melt in your mouth! Service was Top Notch! It was excellent all around! We had a wonderful dinner, thank you!!
