Almost all of the delicious pies are vegan. The lady who helped us explained that they had to stop stating explicitly that the pies are vegan because people actually walked out when they saw “vegan” on the description. Now they are just covertly vegan. But, if you know, you know! 😉 PS - they ship nationwide.
The sweet female employee was very helpful. There were so many flavors available, that is wad hard to make a decision. That meant we had to purchase several flavors. All were moist and filled with the wonderful cream that makes you feel like you are in the clouds. Definitely worth the stop when you are in Bangor!
Purchased a molasses cake with blueberry filling whoopie and a chocolate cake with peanut butter filling whoopie. The blueberry was officially the best whoopie I have ever had! The store also has some maine related gifts and candles. Worth a visit!
