From out of state, we loved this place so much!
Unbelievably good food! Everything is fresh and they only use quality ingredients. Their bread is fresh from a local bakery, and their cookies are homemade.
The people are just as incredible as the food.
Everyone was so kind and welcoming.
We will be returning!

Just went here the first time. Staff was nice and I am very impressed with the value of what I got.

Not only is the #9 sandwich delicious, but it's MASSIVE and very well priced. Honestly, it embarrasses Subway from a food per dollar perspective while also being a considerably higher quality sandwich.

Definitely will be going here again!!

I like to order an "Oh Sweet Basil panini with no tomatoes but add onions on white bread" and that panini is divine! If you're a vegetarian like me and you want a good filling panini I'd say this place is a great choice. Off the top of my head I can't think of other vegetarian dishes but I'm sure there are other options or alterations you could get. They have plenty of options for food and snacks, and the staff has always been friendly. The place is small but it gives off a cozy vibe. I love to go there as a treat for my lunch.

The sub rolls suck and the food is very expensive compared to anywhere else in New England besides Maine and Vermont..

I’m a very picky Nee Yorker. This place is great. Everything was very fresh. Creative sandwich combos. And the staff was really friendly.

Very rude staff. Young female worker refused to sell us a straw for our 3year old to drink her soda after spending $80 for 4 sandwiches. Will never return. Really gone down hill. Sandwich was dry. Don't waste your time or money

Great little sandwich shop in the heart of Bangor. Booth style seating with a few tables as well. Very friendly staff and great menu. Food was def worth coming back for ? Had the Cuban panini, and it was delicious.

Parking: 2 blocks away there is a public parking garage and the 1st 2 hours are free!

Staffed by several young friendly and energetic employees, this spot was a pleasure the moment we walked in. The menu consisted of several cold and hot sandwiches, as well as pizza. There is also a nice selection of ice cream flavors. We enjoyed a Philly Cheesesteak and a Tuna sub. Both were very fresh and flavorful. They were so large that, unfortunately, we didn't have room for ice cream. A most stop during your next visit to Bangor.

I have been eating at Bangor Sandwich Co. since it has opened and I have not had any issues until the last few orders I have placed (in the last couple months). The first couple times, I figured it was an off day for the crew or maybe it was a busier time or something. I always try to look at factors before jumping to conclusions, but with the sandwich presentations I have bought and received over the last couple months there has been consistency in the decreased quality of their food product. It is definitely not what it used to be. I understand businesses take cuts on food quality to increase profit but adding on the poor presentation makes the product very unattractive to consume. With all this said, my most recent purchase happened today. I ordered and bought a Whole "Cascade" (Black Forest Ham, Capicola, Provolone) online. Went to pick it up, employee asked for my name, I gave it to them, and they handed me the sandwich with the word "Cascade" written on it. I got home, opened it up, and it was not the sandwich I had ordered. It was either tuna or chicken, I could not tell. It was a little suspicious (canned chicken maybe?). The sandwich looked like it was thrown (not placed) in the wrapper because veggies were on the outside of the sandwich when I opened it. The lettuce was old and oxidized, and the bread was old and stale. I called the restaurant and the employee apologized, refunded my money in a timely manner, and was kind (which determined my 3/5 star rating for service). My main point of this review is that the food quality has gone down and it seems the care for the product has as well, which is a shame.
