We live in Florida now, but formally we lived across the Penobscot in Brewer. I have never found Chinese food in Florida that has food as great as China Harbor! The hot and sour soup is the best I have ever had on the East coast of the US. Love this place! It is a must stop everytime we return to Maine! I don’t know what restaurant the reviewers who labelled the 3 ladies as rude were in, but it couldn’t have been the place I go! Even if it has been a year since being there they always recognize me and my family! At first I think there may have been both cultural and language barriers. But I always joke with them and compliment them and the food! If I were still going there regularly we would be great friends! Respect is a two way street!Love this place and everything about it!

This is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant in Maine. If you like the old school Cantonese Chinese food, this place still does it, and it's still delicious like it always was.Portion size to price ratio is great.Service is always on point, as long as you don't mind a somewhat winging it mindset. Always nice and kind.Atmosphere leaves a little to be wished for with typically no music, however all the real plants they have growing is gorgeous.Kid-friendliness: Had 3 kids join us, two of which well mannered but still having fun chasing each other around, was still fine in the restaurant.The restaurant is typically empty as most people only grab take out from them.Parking: Tons of parking!Wheelchair accessibility: Was an old burger king so it is easily accessible by wheel chair.

Everything tasted burnt and chewy.Orange chicken glaze looked like bourbon glaze but with no flavor.The upside was that there was a lot of food served for the price.
Came here before and got cashew chicken with no veggies. Come here a second time and lady said they won't do it. I guess won't be a third time.

This was our first visit to China Harbor. We came for supper. Seating was excellent and plentiful. We both ordered combination meals, with a side order of Lo Main. The food was delivered quickly and piping hot. The overall food quality was excellent. Breaded items were tasty and not over powered by the breading. Grilled items were done with just enough char on them. The Chine Harbor Lo Main was superb! Overall, it was an excellent choice to dine here. This will be a restaurant we will take our visitor to. We plan to come back often.

Love their food and their crab Rangoons!!! Quiet and fast food service. Not crowded at all and take out is great too.
Says open till 8 pm Saturday night, not only were they not going to vserve a party of 4..they said the cook went home but we could get take out...wth..will never go back ever again after 4 years going there. Used to there weird behavior but this time...you really sucked...nasty women..too bad..they uesed to be good..even when they were in Rockland Maine... followed them up here..not again?
