Went to get burgers on 12/18/25 @1:40 at the Bangor Maine store. One of the female employes working by the grill was throwing food at one of the male employees. I witnessed her do this more then one time. This is highly unsanitary and unprofessional. We left without ordering and will not return if this activity is allowed.

Don't recommend five guys because of the food. The burgers look more like smashburgers now meaning there's never a complete patty in your burger and I don't like that so you have a very low rating for me maybe a two out of 10

The burgers were perfect fries nice and hot ,nice cheeseburger has always been my favorite meal now let’s talk about clean OMG had to use the restroom I swear the ladies restroom hasn’t been cleaned in months .every part of that restroom was filthy.but yet there were 3 workers just standing around doing nothing . There was an older lady that took our order ( very nice) and when she had no customers she was wiping down tables taking care of trash . .if an inspector had shown up I really think after one look at the restroom they would of fined or shut the place down .
Okay, I had stayed away from here b/c I heard it was overpriced etc. The cheeseburger was wonderful and well worth it. All the burgers are double patties and made to order. You'll honestly spend close to as much at any fast food joint. Milkshake in about 10 different flavors. The dining area stays a bit chilly so bring a sweater.

Grilled cheese with bacon, chocolate shake, and a little fry. A lump of melty cheese and crispy bacon, a softer-serve chocolate dream, and fries that could sustain a small family for days. Perfection.
