Nothing like a comforting meal in a sleepy city. Came here with a bestie from college- 2 burgers done right! Filled us up for a night on the town. We were here for an event. Great service, our waitress, Fonda, knew how to work the room being the only waitress tonight. Props to her. A highlight of Bangor- the Tailwinds Grille.

This a great place to eat while waiting for a flight. It is across the breezeway on the second floor. It is not advertised in the airport.

Despite some other reviews, we really enjoyed the food here, especially the clam chowder, that was delicious. The strip steak was good, but the blueberry pie was also delicious.

We had breakfast and dinner at the Godfrey Grille while staying at the Four Points Sheraton in Bangor. The food was excellent and so was the service. The staff were very kind and hospitality. We highly recommend the biscuits and gravy! The hotel has complementary coffee bar in the morning and cookies in the evening. Our server’s name was Gene. He took care of us for dinner. Even though it was very busy, he took time to make sure we received excellent service.

Nice relaxing place….. food and service was very good as well…. This place seems to be a little Covid scared still ( no bar seating) (limited dining seating)…. 600+ days into the Covid bs….. Time to open this place back up…..Oh and $36 for a lobster roll?? Really?…. Just take it off the menu

Sidney was alone -and she was doing a great job taking care of everyone in the dining room, the bar, and carry out-kudos

We are staying in Bangor for a few days and decided to try the hotel restaurant. Hubs had the caesar salad and cheeseburger, I had caesar salad and clam chowder. All the food was very tasty! The menu is very small but what we had was good. The prices were reasonable, we paid $35 for two of us to eat. We did not get the lobster roll but the price is comparable to what we paid at a lobster shack in Saco. The service was a little slow but not so slow that we would complain about it. I highly recommend going to Godfreys.

Reasonably priced hotel/airport bar and grill. Local taps and some local flair on their menu. Way better than what you have going on in the airport proper. Tim was amazing and worth stopping by to chat with!

Tim did an outstanding job doubling as a bartender and waiter in the restaurant for dinner on July 12, 2021. He made our dinner enjoyable even though the restaurant was shorthanded that night. Gave us some excellent pointers for our adventure in Bar Harbor. Thanks Tim!!!!

Clean, friendly staff (Thanks Fonda!), and the food is great. I started with a Cesar salad because the woman behind me did and she was right too, it’s crispy lettuce. Frankly the best salad I’ve ever ordered at a restaurant. 10/10 recommend if you’re staying at the hotel or need something to do on a layover

Fonda was a great hostess who provided excellent service. Lori (chef) provided a great meal - large portions, amazing presentation, and other plates coming from the kitchen looked incredible. Always great to come back, and Fonda creates a welcoming atmosphere.

A touch on the pricey side but it’s convenient if you’re staying at the hotel with no transportation! Fonda endured my many questions about drinks and food. She was awesome! Good stop if you’re at the hotel or airport!

This has become our regular Saturday morning breakfast place. The food is consistently good and the prices are reasonable. It's also comfortable and quiet, which makes for easy conversation. We've never had to wait for a table. Julie is fantastic!
