Such a romantic atmosphere. Service was on point. Food was fantastic. Seaweed salad was crispy fresh lightly dressed. Sushi was delicious. We will be going back as soon as possible.

MEH....... Food was very mediocre. We were there at lunch on Sunday 10/26. We (my wife and I) ordered a raspberry tea (it was ok) and a Thai Iced Tea (poor rendition of Thai tea - personally it tasted like some other brownish regular tea, not Thai tea - the orangish colored one). Then we ordered 2 small soups, one egg drop and one hot&sour, the hot&sour was good, the egg drop had little flavor to it. Next we had 2 appetizers, the pork steamed dumplings and the PU PU platter for 2. The pork dumplings did not seem to be fresh, more like from a frozen item you pull out of fridge and heat in the micro, and a barely passable version at that (the dumplings wrapper was at least 2x as thick as it should have been). The Pu Pu platter had pork strips in place of BBQ pork ribs and they had sat in the warmer too long and were dried out and greasy. The chicken fingers were finely chopped chicken (NOT strips of chicken) mixed in the batter and the batter must have constituted at least 50% of the finger! We could not find any pork in the pork rolls (only lots of cabbage like in a vegetable spring roll). The chicken wings were good, as was the chicken stick.
All in all, an almost average version of fast food chinese buffet (a la Panda Express), nothing that I think should be served at a sit-down restaurant...
We have eaten here 6 or 8 times in the past 4-5 years and the food was quite good. Something has changed drastically and NOT for the good. We will not be returning here for quite a while, at least a year or so to maybe see if it gets better again because it will not survive long with the food as it is now...

I came to this restaurant on my vacation. My husband and I ordered for to go and waited about 50minutes. If you visit this restaurant to make an order for to go, expect waiting almost an hour, and do not expect to hear, “I am sorry for the long wait.”
If you ask about the status of your order, their response will be very rude and aggressive. You will spend a decent amount of money and you will go with disappointment or discomfort. I know I will not visit this restaurant anymore.

the little woman at the counter immediately started targeting me as i walked in, asking me what the occasion was for me to be dressed so enticingly. i laughed it off and told her i was there for my friends anniversary. she then continued and told me my “nips” were tempting?? it made me extremely uncomfortable but i still wanted to have a good time with my friends so i put it aside. please tell her to not comment on customers “nips”. other than that this place was amazing but i was unsettled and i don’t know if ill return

Authentic Asian (a little Chinese, a bit Japanese, and some Korean). My group liked all the sushi and the entrees. A welcome break from all the seafood, though if you want more, get the Maine roll. The raspberry tea was well-received. Enter via the center of the building.

Don't know how I have skipped eating at this gem for so many years. Suggested by a friend of ours and didn't regret the experience. Nigiri and Sashimi that they prepared were awesome for an appetizer. I had Pad Thai that was really savory.
Will be back when I go to Bangor again!

This USED to be my favorite place for Asian food ... not anymore. My Broccoli and Chicken was just ok, the sauce was greasy. My husband always gets Mongolian Beef - what he got was a plate full of mushy noodles and very little beef! It's never had noodles, only beef, onion and maybe bean sprouts. The pork fried rice was also very greasy. Our server never refilled water or came over to ask how our meal was until we were finished. Very disappointed

Restaurantji Recommends
The food was immaculate and quite flavorful. The portions were also generous.
Unfortunately, my experience was derailed by the almost nonexistent service. I’m not sure if I was simply given less attention because I was eating by myself, but it took an incredibly long time to get food, drinks, and my bill. I couldn’t even get a refill even though I asked twice.
I would strongly encourage coming here for their food, but I would caution that you might be better off getting it as take out.

Sushi was phenomenal! Our service was great and have zero complaints. Look forward to going again. It’s a 3 hour drive (round trip) for us, and was well worth it.
Highly recommend! We got nothing but sushi. It was so fresh, and clean tasting. The little private rooms are a dream come true! So relaxed, so exciting, and private. Our server was top notch. Very personable, and attentive. We’ve had sushi from many other places and this by far has been the best. We compare the other more local places to Green Tea. We will be going back again and again.
Food is always fantastic, and servers are very friendly

Great restaurant. I really liked the Fuji sushi roll. My only complaint is that the menu says that milk tea WITH boba is $5.95, however I got charged $2.00 extra for boba. So milk tea with boba is actually $7.95, which is a lot for one glass. Otherwise, everything was great! I love the decor and hope to come back with some friends and see what the private booths are like.
