Out of our entire stay in Maine (Bangor, Ellsworth, bar harbor) this was both my and my partner’s favorite meal. He is an omnivore and I’m a herbivore (reincarnated brontosaurus. Jk promise I’m not crazy please trust this review).
The soys of summer sounded amazing online and we beelined here as soon as we got off the plane. There was some confusion with my order but the staff was so nice and promptly made me the correct sandwich (I mumble so it was probably my fault. I usually will just take whatever as long as it is vegetarian but I just knew I needed this sandwich and I was right!!!).
This thing was so amazing. Many restaurants just have a veggie option as an after thought but they have put true intention behind these paninis.
When we left town today we were still full from breakfast but I had to have the soys again, so we split it. Must go, ranked higher than lobster and more!
Also, clean bathrooms. Thank you!!!

The sandwich was delicious, and there were a lot of interesting options. Fountain drinks would be nice here, but they had drinks at least. Team was nice.

Stopped for a quick sandwich for the road . What a disappointment. We got a roast beef sandwich. The roast beef was pressed mystery meat tasting with a plastic fake texture. The sandwich contained avocado that was slimy, brown and passed its use by date as the taste was also off. The pickle that came with the sandwich was a the width and length of my pinkie finger so small qualifies more as relish than a pickle. To top it all off, they said would call my name when done and twenty minutes later no name called . Went up to the counter to ask and it has been sitting there as a phones on call . Don’t waste your time or money. Any other place has to be better than this place.

I love their food but you spend your entire lunch break waiting for food that was supposed to finished by the time you arrive regardless of when you order.

I got the Whole Lotta Veggie panini and it was as advertised a whole lotta veggie! It was extremely good and a reasonable price. It came out fairly quick (I dined in) and I enjoyed people watching while I ate.

Typically we are big fans of harvest moon, I often have my husbands lunch delivered to him at work from there. However, I was informed the Columbia St. location was closer so I ordered from them today instead of our regular location. HUGE mistake. I repeated that this was a delivery order 3 different times and the guy taking my order repeated the delivery address to me. Here it is 2 hours later and my husband is still waiting for his lunch. I call, and basically was told "it got put in as pick up, not delivery. what do you want us to do?". No customer service at all, no attempt to make it better, just 'oh, sorry he did that' No big deal to them, they aren't the ones waiting around for their lunch. definitely will not be back to this location if at all.
Visited the place in May 2025. Excellent sandwiches although it took a while to get them (but no surprise, the sign on the table said so ;-)). The service was exceptionnal: the person at the counter took the time to try and translate the menu in French for the teenagers in my party who did not speak English. Thank you :-)
