This by far was the worse experience in a hotel ever. I travel for work so I'm always in and out airports and hotels. I was excited to experience Bangor for the first time, however, that was short lived. I will say there is 2 nice employees at this location and that's the young lady that checked me in and a housekeeper I met in passing. On my first day when I checked in to my room the room was very clean but when I cut the TV on it was at a slight angle not directly towards the bed so I moved it. It did a strange quick screen jump but was normal afterwards so I didn't mention it. HUGE MISTAKE! Day 3 when I got up for work I decided to angle it away from the bed so I can sit at the table and get ready..well the screen went completely crazy! I reported it to the front desk on my way out and went to work for the day. I returned for a break and was told when I asked no one was in my room yet to check (I received a text saying they were working on it mind you). I left to get back to work only to receive a phone call from the rudest guy ever! He was short, nonchalant and just not pleasant! He says we decide you did it and we are charging you $500! I said I beg your pardon? That's impossible all I did was move it and I can show you when it was working and when it wasn't. He replies by telling me "Yea, I don't care what you have and I'm not going back and forth with you, it's $500" I immediately called my company and informed them of the situation and they were as shocked as I was. They proceeded to call and the hotel told them that I was smoking marijuana in the room and broke the TV. What!? How insulting! I, not only am a non smoker but I'm also a government employee and a CDL holder that passes all of the random tests required at ease! And all of this because I reported a TV issue? Disgusting!

Me and 2 of my buddies all under the age of 21 ended up getting stuck in Bangor due to snow. We looked around for awhile asking different hotels if we could book a room at 18 and got denied until we found the Hilton. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and let us get a room of super late notice. They had a nice little gym with some decent equipment to get a good little workout in. Pool and hot tub were good too. Our room so exceptionally clean when we got there overall 5 stars for sure. Definitely would recommend

I want to start by saying the staff was friendly and accommodating no complaints there. HOWEVER, they do seem to be having a bug problem. The first room I got had 10 to 15 flies buzzing around in it. They tried to vacuume them up, but couldn't get all of them so I asked to be moved to another room. The staff had no problem moving me, but the next room also had a couple flies, it was late at this point so I killed the two I saw and just went to bed. Woke up at about 5am and instantly noticed a few more files, a silverfish on the ceiling and ladybugs on the window. I left as early as I could just to get outta there. Overall staff was nice and did what they could, but this hotel definitely has a bug problem. There's other hotels right across the street, I'd recommend trying one of them instead.

Got blamed for smoking in the room, I didn't. Charged me 250 and kicked me out over "ashes" total bs. Would never recommend
I have no idea how a hotel this nice exists in my backyard. I traveled halfway across the country and didn't find anything this nice. My wife and I came here for a 3 day-2 night stay to decompress and it was a marvelous escape.

This is a really nice Hilton property. Walking in the lobby, it was stunning. They had a nice sitting area but did not have the fireplace going. It was 9 degrees while we were there. It has a business center but it is literally right next to the front desk. The lobby has a coffee station right in the lobby too (took away from the classiness, but that is just my opinion). People clearly enjoyed being able to grab a coffee. The pool and spa looked great. I am sorry I did not bring my swim suit. The room was comfortable but a little wear and tear was evident. The bed was extremely comfortable. The pillow were soft. I had to double up. They were good size though. The room was very comfortable and the temperature easy to control. The bathroom was odd where the toilet paper was located. Despite this, the shower had great pressure and lots of hot water. A really nice feature was good switch position and A bathroom fan!!! It had a light in the bathroom fan! The charger station was great too. Hotel was great.
There is a breakfast area off the lobby. I had breakfast there. It was okay. It was 57.00 for 3 breakfasts. The breakfast was scrambled eggs fried(7/10)...not fluffy, not fresh, the bacon was great, toast forgotten, and the potatoes (2/10)...My travelling partner ordered a fruit cup. Reused fruit as a melon baller clearly was used on one of the pieces. The corn beef hash was dried corned beef (1/10), the poached eggs came out hard, toast was a single slice and not great. No waters until asked. We had to request butter for her toast.
Stay at the hotel skip the breakfast.

The bathroom but the pool was phenomenal! 9.5 out of 10 as far as public space bathrooms go

I've stayed at Hilton Gardens numerous times and everytime I've had a good experience. Staff is awesome, there are a few comfortable sitting areas, fire place, complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water. There is also a restaurant/ bar to kick back and relax. Also, it's conveniently located near other restaurants and shops not far down the road. My granddaughter and her friend loved the pool, spa, and gym. I would definitely recommend.
Rooms: Very Clean
Nearby activities: Stores, movies, restaurants, etc
Food and drinks: The food at the restaurant by the lobby was very good and friendly staff.

Stayed at HGI for 5 nights for work. Overall ok experience. Amenities are great and they offer you free water. There’s a bar. The two main issues I had…1. they refused to upgrade my room (despite being gold and staying multiple nights). They said it was due to something regarding the fluctuating rates. It was a bit uncomfortable since you only get a small fridge/microwave and I brought frozen food. 2. There are flies and ladybugs everywhere in that hotel…staircase, rooms…all over
