Everything was great until we left. I was charged $324 including a $46 “%18” tip. What I ordered was…..1 chicken meal-$23.50, 2 kids shrimp meal- $18.95 each, 2 adult shrimp meal- $25.50. 4 ribeye steak & shrimp meals-$32. $240+18% tip $43.30= $283.70. That is a $40.30 difference. When I called and asked the manager responded with “you were giving a receipt prior to leaving I can give u an $8 credit since that is the only difference they see” Do the math where did the rest of my money go to then.Kid-friendliness: The chefs where on point with kid friendliness

It's a Japanese restaurant that tries to serve many kinds of food...this is a mistake. The sushi was excellent, but the rest was AWFUL! I ordered chicken. It came on a bed of yellow corn. It was completely inedible; a horrible steam piece of chicken brest. Ugh. Gross. I sent it back. The whole time we were there they played irish music...completely inapproriate, the same song over and over. No soothing japenese music in the background. Crazy music in the "forground", at in your face volume. They should just serve what they do best. Japanese food, and stop the crazy irish music. Wierd.

I had to flag down the server to order a drink and we have largely been ignored since 6:30. It’s 8:11. I’ve never had such bad service here before. Happy birthday to me! You suck

Have struggled with this review for awhile due to the events surrounding. We came here to celebrate my grandson having a great hockey game. He chose Kobe because he loves the Hibachi cooking. We were the first guests in the Hibachi room. We were shown to our seats and the minute I moved a plate a cockroach scurried across the counter! OMG! My husband, knowing I'm a Foodie reads my mind and squishes the bug and wipes away to the floor and tells me not to ruin this time. The food was OK but the Hibachi cook was not cool! I have seen cooks toss one or two pieces of vegetables at people to catch only it's more like food being thrown at you! Food was all over my grandson and the floor. My sushi was good, no complaints about the food over all. When we were leaving I went to the desk while the rest of my party used the restroom. I informed them of the issue and the layer of dirt on the window shades. They went and looked at the bug and the filth on the windows. Apologized but nothing beyond that. This was in January and I've since deleted the picture proof. We will NEVER go there again and urge others to check things out before sitting down.
Warm sushi so hannaford is still the only place we can get sushi that’s fit to eat.

Amazing everytime we go! Amazing food and service. We were not rushed even though we were the last ones to leave 20 mins after closing. A little pricey but always well worth it for the prices. I always take home leftovers enough for another meal (or 2!)Update 2024.This is still a family favorite and the Chef was fantastic with our five yr old. Had him laughing in fits. Our son wouldn't leave without giving him a hug!
