Guys hangout a few weeks ago and I fogot how chill this place was. Showed up early as get hopping after 7pm. Just wanted to keep ordering as food and beverages all great. Gets noisy so hope you're used to it.

Best wings ever. Best kitchen staff ever. The guys in the kitchen are fun and wonderful. When the cook tells you to try the new poached burger, well…he would know, right? So glad we followed his advice. Wings and a burger- great way to kick off the weekend.

If this place was anywhere but Bangor it would be hip and cool. It's not, so the dude next to me at the bar kept loudly share everything he knew about craft beer, and telling everyone how the bathroom stank cuz "someone pooped in there" Still. Good beer list, decent tacos.

This is a fine establishment right on Main Street. Unintimidating and a cozy atmosphere. Though it was mostly empty upon our early arrival, it filled up rather quickly on a Thursday evening. The most beautiful woman I ever did see was working as a server this fateful evening, doing nothing more than elegantly placing a skillet of potatoes swimming in cheese on our table. But the gods only decided to tease me with a glance, as it was the barkeep who tended to us and not one of the regular servers, due to our early arrival. A friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable young man, an ideal personification of what service should be like! He gave the most excellent advice on the complex decision of which burger I should select. The Gouda Burger, with a nice slab of cheese and the perfect amount of bacon and spicy relish, was absolutely delicious. And the kaiser roll! A lot of bürgermeisters underestimate the value of a good bun, but all the elements of this burger were perfect. I dare say it is among the best burgers I've had anywhere, and that's spinning a mighty yarn! The aforementioned Poutine Potato Wedges were also delectable; undoubtedly I lost at least a day of my life consuming such lardy goodness but YOLO, amirite? 100% would return.

A great place to have a beer with friends. Selection of drinks was great and service was good. Didn't have any food this time but probably will in the future. I appreciated that they were open a little later then other places on a week night.
My wife and I hit up Nocturnem 1-2 times per month. Beer list is fantastic, and the rotation makes it worthwhile to keep coming back. Service is almost always impeccable, and the wait staff are super friendly and fun. The atmosphere and general vibe of the place are also huge bonuses; sometimes it's nice to just be around a bunch of adults (it doesn't hurt that the staff's music taste is on point).The only reason I gave 4 stars for food was because of limited menu. Nocturnem has a smaller kitchen, but they absolutely get the most out of it. Their food is delicious. Like I said, only reason it's not a five for food is because of variety.If you come to Bangor and don't stop in to Nocturnem, I question your life choices.

Found this place on YELP and was not disappointed. Taylor greeted me at the bar and was a gem! She served up great drinks, not just for me, but I watched her with other patrons. Wow! I had the wings and they were absolutely outstanding. So full of flavor and not greasy at all. Could definitely tell this is a locals place and that works for me! Love the small town vibe with big town flavor! I will be back.
