Let me tell you what, this is by far the best BBQ stop in all of New England that I have visited! It's amazing that I can slap my knee with how amazing their hush puppies are! That carolina sauce is by far the closest match outside the state!
One of the very few reasons I’d drive 17 hours back to Maine is this place right here it was so amazingly good. The meat was perfectly cooked falling off the bone the brisket was on another level and without a doubt the BEST tasting Mac and cheese I had in 2 weeks while in Maine. Thank you smoke & steel for an amazing meal.
I've had barbecue all across the country and being from the south I know barbecue. Brisket was tender and service was great. But everything else not so much. Putting Memphis on your barbecue sauce should be illegal. Its the same thing for your Texas sauce. And no one puts onions and peppers in slaw in the south 🤦♂️.
