The place was pretty quiet when I visited and no one was throwing axes or using any of the games. The food was good, but nothing special. Had the Burnt Ends Dinner. The meat was tasty but pretty fatty. The BBQ Beans had a nice flavor but reminded me of Campbell's baked beans. The fries with BBQ dusting were just OK. They have a nice selection of draft beers.
I ordered the music city tacos, 1 pork 1 brisket with fries and slaw. My husband got the burned ends dinner with beans and fries. I tried both the Memphis and Texas sauces. The Memphis sauce was amazing! Great flavor with a bit of tasty heat. Both tacos were very yummy and the fries were excellent. The dry rub on the fries was good but might be a bit salty for some. The burnt ends were smoky sweet and also tasty. Beans were yum. The slaw was my least favorite but was still good....
Ordered the burnt ends, flavorful but soft n mushy, collards were very good! Southern coleslaw, well seems like it set around for awhile! 1/2 rack of ribs no bite! To tendor to soft, bone slipped right out, May have set in a steamer pan to long. Didn't completely turn me off as I would go back to try different menu items. Service was a little slow, but I wasn't in a hurry!
