I've eaten wings at a lot of places in the US. These wings are at the very top of the list of my favorite! The ceasar salad was also one of the best I've ever had!

Had an amazing time with Fonda tonight. She is a rockstar. She had 13 tables plus tending bar with 8 seats.

It’s an absolute miracle she could even handle all these tables on her own. She was stressed beyond all means but was somehow able to make it work. We felt terrible for her.

While this is a great review for Fonda, this is also a terrible review for Tailwinds Grille for not hiring the appropriate amount of waitstaff. It is untenable to expect a server to deal with this amount of customers on her own. It seems like this is the normal expectation of Fonda which is disgusting. I hope Fonda finds employment with a company that respects her unlike Tailwinds Grille.

5 stars for Fonda, 0 stars for the manager of Tailwinds Grille.

A very nice surprise. Looks like a small average hotel restaurant but the food quality is excellent. Do not hesitate to dine here. Nice selection of local beers.

Far exceeded our expectations for an airport hotel’s small restaurant. Food and service superb. Clam chowder, lobster roll were great. Blueberry pie with buttery flakey crust was best we’ve ever enjoyed.

We had a late snack to kill some time before our early flight back home. We had garlic parm chicken wings that were decent. Seems like a convenient option while staying at the airport hotel or waiting for your flight. It had regular American bar food options and probably some good drink options as well. I will say only one waitress working the tables and bar area that evening. She was doing great for what one person can do but another one working would have been better overall.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at the Tailwinds Grille located within the Aviator Hotel. Our lobster rolls were out of this world, the woppie pie dessert was great, and the service tonight was excellent. This place is super convenient for dining during an overnight stay, and the food is way better than what the reviews show.

We moved here in Hermon two weeks ago. This place is AMAZING. The service was spot on and the food, sooooooo good. Don't let the short term parking discorage you. It's only 1.00 an hour. And that is worth it. I had the chicken picatta. It was delicious. My husband had the strip steak with garlic butter, sautéed with mushrooms, onions and baked potatoe. He ordered blueberry pie for take home because he ate his whole dinner plate. Highly recommend

Fonda was incredible, the place was very busy and she was all by herself taking care of bar and dine-in guests. She was so kind and handled all of her guest really well. And Lori in the kitchen made one of the best steaks I’ve ever had and the meal came so quick. Truly for a hotel restaurant (that commonly get a bad rapport), this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Would certainly recommend to anyone staying at the hotel or going to the Bangor airport.

Stood there for 20 minutes trying to make a to-go order at the bar, after not being recognized for a while, I asked the server/bartender if I could place an order and she stated that I had to wait 10 minutes because she was too busy. 10 minutes went by, still never attended me. Walked out. Horrible service.

Good food, prices are definitely inflated…buy lobster roll in FLORIDA, NYC and LA is cheaper than Maine it’s just insane ?

It’s tough to find good breakfast in Bangor - but this is a hidden gem! You can tell how great it is by how many airport workers frequent breakfast here. The food is fantastic, reasonably priced, and Julie is one of the best in the business handling a busy dining room with a smile. If you’re in the area - or definitely staying at the hotel - you need to have breakfast here!
