Solid spot, great pizza. New spot with new staff, so a few growing pains, but overall a great experience.

Do not recommend….waited an hr and a half for our food ended up getting it to go. The pizza was over cooked, the fries tasted like seafood, the pasta was cold and undercooked and the meatballs were dry. I originally ordered the chicken pesto and was told it wasn’t the pesto they usually order so it might not be good (an Italian restaurant should be making their own pesto but that’s a different problem) I said that’s fine I’d still like to order it, I love pesto. About 5 minutes later our waitress came back out and said I could not order the pesto and needed to pick something else so I did. The atmosphere was dreary, and uncomfortable. They had 2 waiters for 4 tables and our waitress was still not attentive and was not personable at all. The owner (owners husband?) seemed like he couldn’t be bothered and stated he didn’t want the restaurant his wife did. We tried to order more bread and he came out and said we couldn’t and that bread was the least of their problems. After all that we got our food, took it home and realized they didn’t even give us everything we ordered. Disappointing and we will not be going back.

Hoped for something special ! But disappointed in the tepid performance. This is not the north end Boston ?
After an interminable wait, our pasta dishes were served almost cold. My piccata had grisly chunks of chicken- not the wafer thin presentation I had expected -but the flavor was good, lots of capers and lemon.
Waitress was too attentive. maybe the promised bread should have been served before the entree? So we would have had something to enjoy during our hour wait?

We were very excited to try this place but unfortunately we left disappointed. We arrived around 5:30pm and they were out of pizza dough, baked lasagna, meatballs and mozzarella sticks. We ordered the fettuccine alfredo and the spaghetti with meat sauce and both did not meet our expectations for authentic Italian cuisine. The fettuccini was mostly pasta and olive oil and the spaghetti was overcooked and bland. We were excited to try the pizza but now we aren’t sure we will be back.

We ordered takeout. I got the Piccata and my GF got the Marsala. The Piccata has breaded and sliced chicken which didn't match their website menu that showed/said sliced pan seared chicken. The breaded chicken was a little dry but it was takeout so that's probably why. Otherwise it was fine. Pasta was a little over cooked but the capers were nice. I want to try dining in before I make up my mind but the restaurants website needs updating. Overall it wasn't terrible.

Won't go there again. Ordered Spaghetti with meat balls, I was told they were out. I was told they didn't have lasagna because it was determined it took too long to prep that. So I ordered Spaghetti with meat sauce. 30 min, later as our waitress brought the food to the table she told me they were out of meat sauce too. I ordered a pizza. hd to wait 30 min while my table ate. After two hours as we walked out the door, the only other table of customers, the manager or owner brings out a plate of spaghetti with meatballs to an obvious friend.

They went out of there way to add chicken to a dish that did not have chicken for me, very nice reasonable people, the bad reviews are just Karen’s

We were super excited to try the new Italian restaurant in town and decided to give it a try tonight. It was a Wednesday around 6:00 when we got there. We waited about 10 minutes for a waitress to clear a table and seat us. Our waitress was friendly and apologized for the wait, and took our order quickly. While ordering, we were informed they were out of lasagna. No worries, we selected an appetizer and entrees. After waiting 45 minutes, we were informed that they were out of the balsamic glaze for our appetizer (caprese). There was no acknowledgement that we hadn’t received the appetizer within 45 minutes. We decided to cancel it and just wait for our dinner. Dinner came out 15 minutes after that interaction (an hour after we ordered). The accompanying bread was burnt. There were 7 bite sized pieces of grilled chicken on my piccata, and the sauce didn’t have a hint of lemon in it. It felt oily and after picking off the chicken I ate maybe 4 bites of pasta. My fiancé’s carbonara was fine, but honestly, we could’ve eaten better if we got frozen dinners at Hannaford. When we got our check, we went to use the mobile pay option, and were informed that it hadn’t been set up since the transition from the old owners. We like giving restaurants a second chance, especially when they’re new, but honestly, it would take a lot to get us back through the doors of this place.

A far-cry from the authentic italian experience promised. Went out with a group of friends and we left disappointed with all of our apps and main courses. I can’t bring myself to tear apart the entire meal, so I’ll focus on my main course:

Ordered fettuccine Alfredo, received flavorless buttered noodles with some solidified parmesan stuck to the bottom of the bowl.

When I reached out to the owner after the meal to ask what happened, they told me that their chef walked-out the week before. They also initially told me that that the dish I received was authentic Alfredo, then said that they prepared the dish themselves and didn’t have the correct flour on hand. It wasn’t about the flour (iykyk). The appetizers and other meals were of comparable poor quality.

I do sympathize with them for the situation in which they find themselves, and if I believed it was just about the chef or the flour, I’d have kept my thoughts to myself. I genuinely hope they can turn this around.

Really good place! Best mozzarella sticks in town, and amazing pasta made fresh in house! They are a new establishment working through a few minor things, but once they get through it’ll be only so much better! Karaoke is always a great time and the pizza is also very good as well!

I hate writing negative reviews but no choice here. We arrived and order was taken but an hour later no drinks or anything - 30 minutes later and still no food - finally arrived and was cold - was not complete - no bread was served as advertised. We brought this to managers attention but she was unapologetic never apologizing and said that we waited only an hour when it was clearly 1-1/2 hours. Never even offered an apology or any compensation for our terrible service and extremely long wait.

First time in this new restaurant. The atmosphere is perfect for conversation with friends over drinks and food. It's not fast food but excellent food. Try the spaghetti with Papa Lavano's meat sauce. A winner. Like all restaurants today there are hiccups with staff and supply. Give this place a chance. It's worth it.
