Nice Irish style pub and restaurant on premise at Hilton Garden inn Bangor. The menu has a good variety from traditional appetizers to pot pie and good selection of burgers and sandwiches.
The Claddagh Irish Pub right in the hotel was super convenient for takeout. Tried three different dishes and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. The chicken pot pie is a must-try, seriously amazing. The steak was tasty too, little pricey but was really good. The boneless wings were good too but definitely not woth $16—like $4 a wing. Overall, great food with kind of high prices but worth it for some good food.
The woodwork is very nice. It has the feel of a local. It was clean. It was missing a dart board. The art was black and white...lacked colour. Our server was very accommodating and the bar tender was extremely friendly. The menu was kind of Irish. It does have the adopted bar dish of Bangers and Mash which the Claddagh uses the term " bratwurst" to describe the sausage.
