Today, went in to get breakfast with my husband. It is supposed to be open at 7am. I was not happy with the attitude that we got from the lady who was running the counter. First, they were late opening, it was not open at 7am, it was close to 7:15am. And we got welcomed by saying “we aren’t doing food, we just opened!” Very rude. We turned around and left, went to Dunkin for a sandwich and coffee. I have had better experiences, but the rudeness was not called for at all

Always a delight when I fly through Bangor and have time to pick up a SMH from The Grind House. Never disappoints.

Not a ton of seating, but its nice because you're not shoulder-to-shoulder with others. The food is good with a relatively broad selection, and the lattes are great, with constantly-changing seasonal specials.

How the city of Bangor fire department hasn’t shut this place down yet for inadequate ventilation over the grill is beyond me. Went in on a 40° day, front door was wide open, big portable fan on the floor was trying to blow the lingering bacon smoke out place. For the price they charge a sandwich you think they throw in chips too, but no. Sandwich was adequate. oh, for some reason, the lights were off in the eating areas.

I was on vacation with family and we were super hungry and hoping to get a good Philly cheesesteak. We had decided to try this restaurant and while it was a little pricey the food was excellent. I'd actually say it had to be one of the best Philly cheesesteaks I've ever had. They also play good music thats not your annoying typical pop music. Definitely recommend and will be looking forward to eating there again :)

I had the coffee flight and I cannot believe more coffee shops are not doing this! I get to try 4 of their specialty coffee’s instead of just one. As a coffee fanatic this is the best idea I’ve ever seen! And I loved every one in the flight. Best coffee in Bangor!I also had a Farmer Dan’s bowl which was so filling that it will definitely hold me through my busy morning.

I'm sure the food is great and the wifi too. The front of house service needs a lot of work. A very non-Maine attitude from the start. Snide, and authoritative about the bathroom key, clearly I know it's only for customers as I just came from their where the sign clearly states it's for customers only. I had planned to order food and a drink but I didn't come here for some snobby fake attitude with a side of gtfo. The latte was bitter and yet weak even with a double shot in a 12 oz. and I'm sure it was the lack of care from the woman who took my order. She needs to learn how to talk to customers without letting her disdain show. there are plenty of nice friendly places in Bangor to get a nice coffee and a great lunch. I'll not be back.

Service.. Friendly, personable, and efficient! Ambiance.. Cute little shop with feelings of hugs. Food.. OMG.. The Philly checked off everything it should be: soft chewy crunchy bun had me, and the flavor journey of meaty cheesy spicy savory gooey goodness that sends you on a roller coaster wanting more bites. Awesome

The food is OK, they don't have a creative menu. but I'm so disappointed in this place's hygiene. The toilet is so dirty, even they hand out the key to customers only.

Cute place and friendly staff. Unfortunately the avocado toast left a lot to be desired, and they forgot part of our order. My husband's burrito was much better and the lattes were decent.

Try at your own risk!Being a small business owner and working with the public for decades, Andrew's management style of verbally assaulting customers was not one that I have EVER chosen. The atmosphere was nice and the server at the counter was very pleasant but the heavy poison that oozed loudly out of mouth that grew ever louder made it impossible for me to eat there. Instead of just apologizing for being rude he tripled down and just kept justifying why he was in fact being rude and insulting while sounding dumb trying to use words he didn't understand. We went a couple of doors down to Bagel Central (Which was packed, clean, with a huge selection, and great customer service)

JUST DON'T! There is a reason why this place is empty and Bagel Central has a line out the door! Andrew, the manager, could not have been any more rude! His non-apology apology and insults, yes INSULTS, were personal and unrelenting! He even questioned my intelligence while using poor grammar and vocabulary words he didn't understand! I can not impress upon you strongly enough to spend your dollars elsewhere!

I have fallen in love with their green eggs and ham sandwich... without the ham. It's an incredible sandwich! Alas, they stop serving after breakfast hours so you must go early to get one. Believe me, I showed up late one day not knowing this and wanted to try and bribe the kitchen to make me one even though I was too late. Or cry to have them make me one. Bribe would be better. I did neither but did want to. Eat it hot. OMG. Just heaven. When I'm in the area and can get away to get one on time I'm there. Every time!!

Walked in and wow, lots to read on the menu! Which can be good and bad depending on how much time you want to spend reading menus. I chose a egg and cheese on a croissant bun and a caramel turtle latte. I came here because it had been highly recommended, but I have to say, I expected more, but depends on what you like, right?? Plenty of seating, centrally located in the city, easy parking, and plenty of coffee concoctions to try out. My coffee was missing the whipped cream, but oh well. The froth for the latte was odd, it deflated super quickly, not sure what happened there. And the sweetness was sweet, but it was missing that caramel turtle flavor I thought I was going to get. For me, this was meh. I expected something more decadent. My egg sandwich was good. Basic. Not a real croissant either. It was a croissant bun of some sort. It seemed, well, basic, or economical. But it was filling and the egg was good. I also have to say that when I departed, I smelled like a convenience store that sells those hotdogs on rollers... I smelled all day, I had to wash my hair to get the smell out. I also have to mention the heavy music that was playing. It was obscene and it was loud. So loud it made it challenging to order and I did eat my meal quickly and leave. It was a Tuesday morning around 9 am. But hey I am getting older so this may not have been a good choice for me.
