The Main Tavern is an iconic pub in downtown Bangor. I particularly like the chicken wings with a glass of white wine. The service is fast and the ambiance is terrific. There is plenty of parking in back of the pub so you do not have to search for a parking space. There is a parking lot entrance on Main Street right beside the lit Hopeful Sign.

My friends and I have gone to the Tavern for years, because we loved the owners and the karaoke. Debbie and Peter have always been kind to us and we have never had any issues...Until Friday. I haven't been to the Tavern in 3 years, due to a busy work schedule. I overheard Debbie ask the DJ what my name was, which surprise me, since she knows me and my group of friends.
