Wow one of the worst restaurants I've been to. Waitress brought us over two glasses of room temperature waters. I knew right then we were in trouble.
I had to ask for ice and was provided with a glass of ice. We got a salad to start. The dressing was not even mixed and as though it was all oil. The next nightmare was the food
We ordered a lunch haddock 28 bucks and scallops for 40 bucks. Seeing is believing, so I had to capture this
I think they cut the scallops in half, and the fish was smaller than you get at Micky D's.
To top it off, the food was cold!! We walked out of this sorry place. We still paid for the terrible salad but left both meals. We complained but that didn't go anywhere.
upon arrival we got warm water with no ice. my 40.00 dollar scallops from the lunch menu were cold, and when I asked about the price. since on there website the lunch scallops were priced at 15.95 and dinner scallops were 25.95 she was going to let someone know lol, salad dressing was not mixed so we had oil on our salad, potatoes were also cold
Nice place to eat. They were out of shrimp cocktail and baked potatoes. Stuffed haddock was delicious WITHOUT the sauce. Tropical mule and espresso martini were great. Waitress was very attentive.
You have to try the homemade key lime pie
We ordered and paid full price for dinner entrées but couldn't get dinner sides at lunchtime. Maybe they add the seafood to the stuffing only at dinner time. 😂
Very underwhelming and disappointing and overpriced seafood medley pasta. Service and dill sauce and vibe was otherwise great.
This is our FAVORITE restaurant to come in Bath. We’ve been coming to the area for vacation for the past 13 years. Maxwell’s never disappoints! Fantastic food and service. (I forgot to take a pic of my plate. believe me, it was good)
Got takeout and it was not good. The “cheese sticks” were not good at all and definitely not made with mozzarella cheese. The fried haddock (which should be fresh and delicious) was just ok and the buffalo wings were not crispy or very good at all. Do not recommend
constantly out of standard alcohol and food. it seems they are struggling to purchase the necessary products because they can't manage the finances
Excellent food and a great staff.

Crab stuffed mushrooms were all bread stuffing, could not identify any crab in the stuffing. Blackened Haddock sandwich was fast food quality, maybe.
Server was pleasant but did not understand the menu as we explored.
Bar was out of the only IPA on draft and the red was only serviceable.
Unlikely to visit again

Went for the Prime Rib. Some of the best in the State. Service was a little bit slow which took away from the experience. Sorry that I forgot to take a picture.
Parking: Behind the restaurant, plenty of spots

This one is a pass on all levels. Although the river in Bath is a five star.

Food hot and tasty. Staff short so wait times extended. Didn't like no draft pilsner

We were in town for a wedding and this place became our home base for 3 days straight. Food and service are good. Lobster roll with homemade chips was substantial. The bar downstairs called Shipbuilders is awesome, too. Go to this place. Thank you Emily and Mary! I hope to see you again.
