Cheeseburgers are my favorite food and I get them everywhere I go. I've probably eaten over 10,000 cheeseburgers in my life. I'm also embarrassingly cheap/thrifty and nearly always prioritize quantity over quality.With these facts in mind, please be advised that their $18 cheeseburger (just the cheeseburger, no fries or chips or drinks or anything) was the most delicious cheeseburger I've ever eaten by a wide berth and I absolutely would buy it again, over and over. Somehow, some way, a single solitary cheeseburger that was $19 after tax is the best value burger I've ever eaten.When I was done eating the burger, I thoroughly licked the paper it came in and eventually chewed some of it up and spat it out. This fact brings me some level of shame, but I believe it's an important part of the review.

We drove from Scarborough to Bath, to explore the wonderful little town. Before going, my husband had found out about this butcher shop, so we stopped in. Let me just say that, at first glance, I could tell it was quality. There was so much to choose from, that the decision was a difficult one. I finally eyed two small New York strips that were perfectly marbled, and just the right size for two meals--1/2 pound each (we're not huge consumers of beef). We bought a couple of other items, as well. Bottom line: it is the most amazing steak we've had in a long time. We have a very good butcher here in Portland, but this was one step better. Run, drive, fly--however you can get there--just do it. Yes, they're a bit more expensive than what you'd pay at your local market/grocery store, To say it's worth it is an understatement. They know what they're doing.

I purchased a duck on Christmas Eve to have for Christmas dinner. The duck was 6.98 pounds and cost me $62.75. The duck was the only thing I purchased from the shop. When I opened the sealed bag, it became very obvious that the duck had gone bad. I looked at the date on the packaging and saw that it was marked Dec 13. Whether that was the packaging date or the expiration date, that's quite a gap between then and time of purchase. I attempted to contact the shop twice to explain the situation and request a refund, and I've still not received a response nearly two weeks later. This was supposed to be our Christmas dinner and I'm out over $60 because of the shop's negligence. Shop: please answer this request so that the issue can be resolved! Thanks!

What a cool shop!?! Fantastic looking meats and lots of different products. The staff was very friendly, busy, and helpful. I haven't cooked up the ribeye yet, but it looks like it will be delicious.

Got some short ribs here recently that a gentleman helped us debone and made some really awesome bulgogi out of them. The product is phenomenal and the service staff are very helpful, will definitely be coming back again

On Saturdays, they offer the best "smashburger" that my wife and I have ever had anywhere ?. We'll look forward to any opportunity to return as much as possible. Their meat and other food and beer options are also exceptional. The staff is quite skilled and knowledgeable of the products that they have. And their sincerely friendly service is worth going back for.
Beautiful meat products, great staff who are super helfpul. Well picked variety of local adjacent products. Ribeye on the bone, well, superb. See photo. Ill be back whenever I pass through or near! Easy parking within 50 mtrs.

Like all truly manly endeavors, Kennebec Meat Company will make you better, stronger and faster. I had posted an ad on Craigslist looking for an adventurer to put an end to the dragon terrorizing my village in Woolwich. Patrick, head butcher at KMC, arrived forthwith, whatever that means, carrying nothing but a 6" boning knife and six pack of Coors Light. After choking the dragon out with what he called "gogoplata", he skinned it, gutted it, and pulled out the backstraps with his mind. He charged the village $47 in gold and delivered shrink-wrapped steaks of the finest cut 31.7 minutes later. After eating the meat, I discovered changes in my appearance and physique. I could suddenly deadlift 13000 pounds and maidens swooned when they beheld my new, stout jaw. Speaking of Maidens, every last virgin in our lovely village is now with child just from being in Patrick's presence. Splendid! We've begun celebrating Saint Tweedie day every July 14th in his honor. Thank you, Sir Tweedie. Thank you. I've included pictures of my physical progress after eating KMC's excellent protein. I 100% guarantee this will happen to you if you shop there. Also you should pay double just because they are awesome. This is absolutely real and as true. Results are totally assured.
