Wow! Right or wrong, I often judge an establishment on their preparation and execution of French Toast. I know it seems like such a trivial thing, but when french toast isn’t done right, it’s such a disappointment. I had stuffed French Toast at Mae’s Cafe and I have to say it is among the best I’ve ever eaten! It is sweet without being overly sweet. The toast is perfectly prepared, no sogginess. Each of its ingredients compliment each other for an amazing tasty treat that any French Toast lover will truly appreciate. The testators clean, the staff helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Mae’s Cafe & Bakery!! PS we took home several other treats to have later, we just couldn’t resist!!

Extraordinary delights from staff to food to cozy welcoming feel! Worth the trip. Short-ribs Eggs Benedict! Reubens! Quiche!
Mae’s was recommended by our hotel staff. Highly recommended for breakfast. Excellent service and food. Left the restaurant exactly how our wait staff wanted to; a full, happy tummy.
Great breakfast food, wonderful pastries - especially scones and thick cookies.

Very cozy and cute. Great service, Donna and everyone else was very kind and attentive. I had Eggs Benedict with short rib - wow - so delish. They have numerous eggs Benedict options and different hot sauces??

Mae’s catered our wedding this past weekend and it was nothing short of amazing. The catering staff was friendly and professional. The food was absolutely delicious and served just the way we had asked. The desserts were also baked to perfection. Our guests have been talking about how great the food was for days! We highly recommend Mae’s for all of your catering needs.

We have driven by this place many times when it was closed and today we had a chance to try it. The service and location and atmosphere are top shelf. Wonderful. I loved my tarragon chicken salad croissant sandwich and coffee. Perfect. My husband got chocolate chip pancakes and was disappointed because he thought there should have been more chocolate chips. Of course we realize that is a relative thing, some people might want more or less...I think when we stop in the future he'll just ask for extra chocolate chips. Real maple syrup was great. Paige and Finn, lovely servers, cute and sweet. Parking place right in front. Sunny day, what more could we ask for? Thank you!

Really disappointing stop at Mae’s. We ordered a salmon bagel sandwich and avocado toast to go. The toppings on the bagel were inedible, and neither the bagel nor toast was actually toasted. Not to mention it was one of the most expensive stops for breakfast on our trip.

Great atmosphere. Friendly servers. Limited gluten free options and alternatives to pork for breakfast meats. My eggs were average. The steel cut oats were delicious. My Nana loved the French toast and wanted extra crispy bacon and it was not crisp enough for her.

My party of 9 has gone to Mae's each year for a number of years with nothing but praise for the previous owner. This year 9/17/2024 the lunch was unremarkable and pricey. 5 of our 9 ordered the corn beef Reuben and all were dry and tasteless. It's pretty hard to ruin a Reuben, but Mae's succeeded. 2 ordered the the Tarragon Chicken and no hint of Tarragon. A real disappointment!
The best breakfast/brunch in the area! I recommend the eggs Benedict with ham - it’s outstanding. The staff is very hard-working and accommodating. Love Mae’s!
