Its funny how the reviews describe the decor of this place. It is unusual to say the least, a nautical themed pizza restaurant. To me it felt more like, we don't have enough money to renovate so we just left it like it was in 1973 - when it wasn't a pizza restaurant. At any rate, its harmless and is a cheap and cheerful place with counter service. The real reason to go is in fact a decent pie. I had a sausage and onion pie, good crust, thin-ish but not oily and cooked well. I for one like a little char but this didn't really go that far. Sauce was really nice and toppings very tasty. Its a solid 4. It is not exactly like NY or New Haven pizza but its clearly not just a bunch of dough with cheese and red sauce - like most of the pizza in Maine. When someone says its the best on Maine, remember the bar here is the lowest in the New England states. I would definitely go back for another pie though and have a chuckle at the odd interior. Staff were also helpful and friendly and it was not expensive.

I've been going to the Cabin for years. I love the atmosphere and the food is delicious, but I was extremely disappointed with the service we received yesterday. We ( 6 of us) had gone there to have a birthday dinner for my 88 year old grandfather. My mother received her food half an hour before the rest of us. When they finally came in with most of the rest of the food they realized they had given her someone else's meal. My son had ordered his meal about 10 minutes after the rest of us. We all finished our meals, and continued waiting for him to receive his. My grandparents were tired but didn't want to leave before he ate. Finally, we asked about his meal (it had been an hour and a half) they tried to tell us that they brought it out with the rest of our group's food, but they had not. They realized they had never put his order in. He asked for a refund, because we had somewhere we needed to be, so he had to stop somewhere else along the way to get food. Which made him late for the event we were attending. We were all very disappointed. It wasn't even very busy at that time. I understand they also do take out, but this was ridiculous.

It's the only real pizza around but I'm really not happy weekday I took my self to dinner I orders a meatball sub and a cream soda I took one bite and my sub roll was burnt and so was the sauce that's the second time this happened to me were I had to throw it out the bad part is that it coust 16.00 smh but the staff is first class people I love them all but we need to figure out how to fix this idam for future customers

The service at the counter was good. The lasagna I ordered was cold in the middle. There was no one to tell because after the food was brought to the table, there was no other table service. We were there on a busy Friday night, so there was a line at the counter. My husband got the spaghetti with white clam sauce and compared the taste to that of an egg white. We won't be back.
