Fun place for lunch. The servers were hard working and friendly. Don't turn away if the line is long. There are a lot of choices so you will need time to decide and the line goes quickly. The food was very good and the atmosphere was wonderful. The egg salad could have used some sweet relish. Thanks.

Tremendous selection of sandwiches and cooked delights. We had the chicken pot pie and minestrone soup. Superb! Very nice people made sure this will not be our last visit. Highly recommended.

I have always enjoyed their casseroles and lunches but today I thought I'd try the ice cream. I am extremely particular about my hot fudge sauce. Many other places claim to serve it although it's Hershey's syrup. I almost fell over when the gal told me it is homemade! And boy was it delicious! For those of you that want the real thing it can't be beat!

Stopped here for lunch Saturday Aug 26/23. I had the grilled turkey sandwich, along with a vanilla milkshake. I have to say, it was the best milkshake I ever had!! The staff were very friendly and the shop is so cute!

My son and I stopped by after noon on a hot summer day. The mango sorbet was delicious. My son's mint chocolate chip ice cream was very good as well. The shop has a 50's diner vibe.

I take my grandson to The Fountain! We love the old style ice cream shop!! I've been coming here for years for vanilla with sprinkles cone and a ice cream sundae with chocolate and caramel sauce. yummy.

We had a fantastic time at The Fountain during our day in Bath. The service was incredible, with plenty of seating for our large group. We were served quickly and the staff were friendly and helpful with menu recommendations. The chowder, sandwiches, and mac n' cheese were delicious. We even stopped back in later in the day for the ice cream -- yummy and so creamy! Highly recommend The Fountain if in Bath or at the Maritime Museum!

The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and they offer some "grab 'n' go" food if you're in a rush too.
