4 Best Burger Restaurants near Belfast

“Maine is one of the best places in the world to live! But pizza….. we have lived in US pizza Mecca so maybe we are too demanding. Five plus years of living in the area and trying everything only to suffer disappointment! Dry, mushy and flavorless crust, along with blah sauce and skimpy toppings are the area norm. Half our family equation also is limited to gluten free crust and non dairy cheese which moves the likelihood of pizza success around here to near zero.

Then…a friend’s casual suggestion sent us to Bowen’s. Close to home but we had never tried, expecting simple bar pizza.

Shame on us! It’s not New Haven but it’s the best pizza we have found by far!! Mid crunch crust ( I may ask for well done next time - they have LOTS of customization options), super tasty sauce and great toppings. This discovery made our week and we will be their newest pizza regulars!!! Thanks Bowens!!“

“The customer service is lacking here but that's most fast food places. We came here because augusta don't have the grill and chill part, just the regular dairy queen. I love how dairy queen serves burgers and fries, when you go to dairy queen your first thought isn't you want burgers but the burgers here are probably the best burgers I've ever had anywhere. Whatever they do to the burgers make them ten times better then other restaurants or even mcdonalds. The prices are pretty much what you would pay anywhere else. Parking at this location was decent and they accept debit/credit or cash. This particular location was freezing inside but I'm assuming it's because it's technically a ice cream store. They have an advanced soda machine with several different variations of flavors which was a big highlight.

Other than not the best customer service and how cold it was inside the building, I was happy to try it because the burgers were amazing and I definitely recommend you try them. Ask for extra cheese on them. Super yummy. The soda machine is the best. I'm sure the ice cream is great at this location but oddly enough we only came for the burgers, fries and some chicken fingers. The homemade gravy is also delicious.
