Rob the owner of the local sushi restaurant Satori recommended the Lao Iced coffee and it off the charts! I didn't know about it, so I wanted to share as a little inside scoop summer chill drink. 🧊☕ Lovely service and the restaurant is getting towards being an icon Belfast spot. 🙏
Came here for lunch but unfortunately there was a power outage. They can only serve salads and code appetizers. We had the Asian salad. It tasted kind of blend. The location, however, is excellent. You can sit outside at the patio and have view of the water front. The server was also courteous.
This place rules!!!
Very small indoor dining area with only 2 2-top tables, so takeout is a far safer bet during winter months. Either way you're going to get a delicious meal. Service is friendly and efficient. I've tried the red curry, the chicken raam, and the lao fish pocket and have never been disappointed.
What wonderful food.
This incredible place has authentic Thai and Lao food, outdoor seating (water view) and 2 cozy tables inside. Like many restaurants, cash or check is preferred. We used our credit card, and left a good tip.
Really, really delicious food. Plenty of it! Very generous portions.

We tried Laan-Xang's Laotian dishes here - the larb & Lao fish pocket. The dishes were beautifully presented, felt authentic, made with fresh ingredients and flavorful. Although we're not shy from fish sauce, sometimes Southeast Asian food can taste strong on the fish sauce & fermentation. We felt like this place nails it perfectly to show off native flavors in an approachable way for Westerners. Love seeing a diverse offering thrive in this small community! ??✨️
Parking: There is a large free parking lot in downtown that is very close to the restaurant, maybe 2-3 min walk?

My first time having Sai Ghock (sausage) -- amazing flavor and texture. The Lao fish pocket was also flavorful.
There is no bathroom in the restaurant, but there is a public bathroom down the hill across the street.
Parking: Small number of parking spaces directly in front of the store

Delicious food, 12/10 for quality and flavor. Nothing else like it anywhere nearby, always good!
The crabrangoon was the worst, need to find a different place to buy from . No crab taste at all !!!

Extremely rude staff and owner. We were told we would not be served an hour before closing and asked to leave.
The owner then responded to our review by denying it happened (5 people saw your employee look at the clock and heard her say we would not be served.) but then also just proceeded to make excuses for why it happened. Oh another table of 5 just came? There were multiple open tables outside. No one cared to consider combining them. Nor to ask us if we could sit separately.
Because no one cared to serve us and beyond that, there is the matter of how you treat people. And when you treat customers disrespectfully, you get bad reviews. Deal with it.

No words can describe how superior the food is. No need to look any further for authentic, generational, thai cuisine.
