Lovely, intimate place with lovely proprietors and beautifully selected wines. Don't miss the homemade herbal shrubs small selection of exceptional beers if that's what your palate is feeling úp for like ours was last night. Stay longer for friendly conversations at the bar.

Nice place. It feels like they are trying to find thier nitch (In a good way). We only stayed for two drinks and got a meat and cheese platter. I need to come again and really drink the place in. Im glad they are here!

If you’re anywhere near Belfast, Maine — or even just passing through — Pulling Corks needs to be on your list. It’s a wine bar and shop run by Dave and Kristin, a married couple who clearly take wine seriously, and it shows in the best possible way.
Dave is a trained sommelier, and the wine list is absolutely spot on — thoughtful, interesting, and full of bottles you won’t see everywhere. Whether you’re just starting to explore wine or have been collecting for years, you’ll find something here worth getting excited about. It’s the kind of place where you can just say what you usually like, and they’ll pour you something way better than you expected.
Everything here is done with care. From the beautiful glassware to the fact that they actually weigh the wine before serving (yep, really — and it makes sense), it all feels super intentional but never fussy.
And the food? Unreal. The pairings are next-level — fresh, seasonal, and clearly chosen to go hand-in-hand with what’s in your glass. It’s not overcomplicated or overdone, just really, really good ingredients treated right.
Pulling Corks isn’t your average wine bar. It’s thoughtful, precise, and a little bit magical — but also super approachable. You don’t need to “know wine” to feel welcome here, but if you do know wine, you’ll be seriously impressed.
Bottom line: This place is special. Whether you’re sipping a glass or grabbing a bottle to go, Pulling Corks is a must-visit for anyone who loves good wine, good food, and great attention to detail. Don’t miss it.

Didn’t have the food other than the corn nuts; which are very good.
Wish we found this place sooner while visiting. Great place; atmosphere is relaxing, the staff very knowledgeable and friendly.
We took some of their recommended wines home to NJ with us.
We loved the downtown area of Belfast.
