Every time we go to Satori in Belfast it is an absolute treat. It is obvious the minute you step through the door that the owners really care about your experience at their restaurant. Almost always there to great you with a smile and ensure that your dining experience is top notch.
I primarily eat sashimi, so the quality and freshness of fish at a sushi restaurant is obviously of the utmost importance. I have NEVER had one single bad slice of seafood here.
Besides the fish, the ramen is excellent, and the way they prepare their pork belly is spot on. I would highly recommend the pork belly bahn mi bao. The wings are also amazing, they must brine them, because they fall off the bone, whilst simultaneously having a perfect crisp and crunch to the skin. Everything was presented in a conscientious way that is appetizing for the eye as well as the palate.
Easily one of the best sushi restaurants in maine, and hands down the choice for the mid-coast area!

It was our first time eating here and it was outstanding. Large menu, great atmosphere, food and service. It is a real gem of an Asian restaurant.
FAMILIES BE AWARE. I usually never write negative reviews, but good to inform that this is not a family friendly place, specially if you have a baby. Maybe good for date nights. We arrived at 5pm and even tho we were the only table on the second large dining area, the host / manager did not let us bring our stroller because of upcoming reservations that would take the space. I had to dine while holding a baby that barely holds his own head up. We finished our dinner and only 2 parties of 2 had arrived besides us. Tons of space that we could have put our stroller in, inclusive we asked to put the stroller on our own table exchanging for a chair! I mean, we weren’t allowed to take one of our extra chairs to put a stroller in its place!!! What?! and I am talking about a doona stroller (super compact that turns into a car seat). I am a restauranteur myself with over 10 years experience in the business in Los Angeles and I would totally understand the request if it made sense. But with the amount of space, the number of people present, the extra space on our own table (4) and the size of our compact stroller, it felt unwelcoming. It was a mistake to dine here. Not worth the extra stress and attempts to negotiate… specially for the price point and quality of dining (food, music and drinks).

There are clearly labeled vegan ramen, rice bowl and appetizer options. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable and our server even recommended the Liz roll (a fried tofu roll) not on the menu.

Without a doubt the best restaurant serving Japanese cuisine in the State of Maine. The cocktails are also some of the best in the state. Try the pork belly Bao!!!

We had a wonderful dinner last night at Satori. I regret not trying this place before. Being off season, it was easy to walk in with no wait time. Every single dish we ordered was perfect! The drinks were great. I had ordered one of their vodka based cocktail special, which was just perfect. We ended with their Japanese cheesecake that came with a blackberry sauce and whipped cream - absolutely delicious . Great service and ambience. Definitely, coming back

My favorite restaurant in Belfast!!! Service is best of the best! Wind, Jocelyn, Rob, Brandon, Lori, Bella, Angie and Will are all so so so so amazing. Top tier staff! Nothing beats Wind’s drinks! The Pom Poko is my go to!!! A must visit if you’re in Belfast.
