Decent food. Quick service. Could use some updating and some modernization of the dining areas. Would I eat there again? Yes I would.

On our way from Acadia to Portland we found this simple but very good diner in the middle of Belfast well off the main highway. We were lucky to find parking but it was worth it. The dining room is a simple grouping of tables with a couple of friendly staff. The menu is mostly oriented to breakfast so I had corned beef hash and eggs and my daughter had a veggie omelet. The food was served quickly and hot and the service excellent. We enjoyed our visit so much that we regretted having to go back out in the rain and Rt 1 traffic. Stop by if you get tired of the traffic and hustle and want eggs done the way you like them!

Very cute little diner. We stayed one night in Belfast and wanted to check out Traci’s for breakfast. It is very old school, vintage everything. They have something for everyone and it is definitely a small made from scratch place and your order is made when you place it. A couple of us had breakfast sandwiches, one had eggs Benedict and one a full breakfast. We all enjoyed our meals.

We were charged an additional 8% for a FMLA/401k/TAX on our bill. Plus 9% regular tax. Nothing was mentioned up front. That's 17% tax!!!! I thought it was a state wide thing until I discovered it was not. It was this establishment.

Had the sausage/cheddar potato cake served with 2 eggs and toast. It was very good. Food was hot. We split it. I don’t like spicy so we got the spicy gravy on the side. I was told it was very good. Service was great. She answered all of our questions and was really helpful. Everyone there was very friendly.

Food was pretty good. Berry pancakes were large, shoulda only ordered one but the coffee and bacon were on point.
Atmosphere not so great. Several tables were by the restroom which smelled and was being used quite frequently. In addition, we parked in the back lot and had to walk in past the worst smelling garbage. It was such a turn off. If it wasn't for the fact that this was the only place on rte 3 for miles, we woulda kept going.
The server was a grouchy 20yo with no personality. And the 2 locals sitting behind us were so loud the whole place knew all about their nieces drama, their new dog (carl's)sweater, and their husbands.

Host was OK. Waitress rocked, food was something my 17 year old daughter could have made.. super salty hollindiase and watery, super salty spiral ham and kielbasca.. I did like that they grilled my english muffin so it had a little crunch. Home fries were bland yet fried evenly cooked. As an artist, with kids, and nannying for 25 plus years. the decor was understandably playful, but not clean, sloppy and rough. And our table was tiny!

This little diner is a gem!! We walked in and we were greeted promptly and told we could take a seat where we liked. Our waitress was kind and had a smile on her face. She was working the dining area very well.
We ordered the Liver and onions for one entree and it was cooked really well. It wasn't chewy or gamey and hats off to the cook!
We also ordered the meatloaf dinner. It was a little heavy on the rosemary or Thyme, but it was pretty heavenly to have after a long drive north. We didn't order dessert. There wasn't much to choose from.
But don't let that discourage you.
This diner is a great place for really wonderful food.

Food is always decent and staff always friendly! The one thing that bothers me, is they are making customers pay an extra 9% on their bill to cover employees 401k (no joke, says it on the bill) the waitress told me it makes her very embarrassed when customers ask about the charge.. do better guys, SERIOUSLY!!
