We love Gemini bakery for so many reasons. Yes the food is delicious but they offer so much more! Its such a wonderful and warm environment to enjoy these goodies. Plus they give back so much to the community . They support local events and donate to our local food pantry. The folks here are kind ,thoughtful and incredibly talented bakers! My friend Anna is one of the owners of this exquisite little gem in Bethel Maine. We had never visited Gemini Bakery so we decided to have lunch there along with some site seeing. We had the New Yorker Bagel and Lox with Capers and Tomatoes. DELICIOUS! The tomatoes were garden delicious, and the blend of flavors just wonderful. We bought a chocolate eclair (my husband's favorite pastry) and a chocolate croissant. We shared both. Peter said the eclair was the BEST HE HAD EATEN IN YEARS. Probably since the last one we ate in Quebec in 2014! He has often said, "You can't get a decent eclair in Maine." Well, that was true until today! The atmosphere was light and bright, efficient and lovely. I got a bag of beautiful looking local garlic, a loaf of bread to go, and we tried the Ginger Buzz and Maine Root Ginger beers, both yummy. Top it all off with two (coming and going) bear hugs with Anna and it was a delightful experience. I highly recommend the Gemini Bakery!!! (PS the croissant was yummy too!!)

I recently visited Gemini Cafe and Bakery and had a mixed experience. The highlight was definitely the breakfast bagels. I tried the breakfast bomb on a cheddar bagel, and it was fantastic—perfectly spiced and well-balanced in flavor. Everything complemented each other beautifully.
However, the service left much to be desired. The staff wasn’t particularly friendly, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, I noticed several flies buzzing around the kitchen area, raising concerns about cleanliness and sanitation.
Overall, while the food was enjoyable, improvements in service and hygiene would make a significant difference.

To see it from the outside you don't think much, but when you walk inside very tastefully decorated, everything is up front so you can see the building used to be an actual bank and they still have Devault doors. Still hang ordered a box of pastry. Ran me about $65. But well worth it, if you're visiting an area such as bethel maine
A-Mazing little bakery! We happened upon this traveling through town and SO glad we did. A bit of a line on a weekend morning but worth the small wait. Had a coffee and latte, breakfast sandwiches on English muffins and on a homemade biscuit ?? Looking forward to returning to try more baked goods. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

Stumbled upon this lovely spot on the way from Portland to Northern NH and LOVED it! Coffee and baked goods were absolutely delicious, vibes were great, customer service was incredible. I only wish I wasn’t passing through and could go back again! The line was out the door when we got there but it moved along nicely and was definitely worth the wait.

This place is a hidden gemstone!!! We drove a little out of our way to try this coffee shop out and BOY were we happy we did!!! The cinnamon swirl was amazing and the coffee was top notch. The atmosphere was peaceful, "localish", and down to earth. The staff was informative, helpful, and very pleasant. If you're anywhere near Bethel, ME then this is a must stop place.
Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian, but my family are and they highly recommend the large selection they have for the vegan/vegetarian crowd.
