I can’t say enough. We had a pre-made kale and tempeh salad that was so good, I am copying the recipe for a 4th of July party. Then we had two of their bagel sandwiches - the New Yorker with vegan cream cheese and mushroom lox was phenomenal. We finished with a chocolate tahini bar that they advertised as gluten free and vegan. I wasn’t remotely hungry at that point, and I am generally not a sweets person, but I could not stop eating it (my husband was disappointed because he usually gets 90% of any dessert). Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. And right across the street from the Maine Gem and Mineral Museum, which was also fantastic.

Absolutely perfect pastrami on their house made seeded rye sourdough. The bread was soft with a crispy crust. Real fermented kraut, cornichons, and Dijon. Service was good. Only thing I didn’t love was the chairs, difficult to navigate between tables to sit down.

We love Gemini bakery for so many reasons. Yes the food is delicious but they offer so much more! Its such a wonderful and warm environment to enjoy these goodies. Plus they give back so much to the community . They support local events and donate to our local food pantry. The folks here are kind ,thoughtful and incredibly talented bakers! This was a really great treat in such a small town! The bagel and jam were DIVINE. Seriously, best I’ve ever had. The old bank vault was really cool, and just overall a neat place.
My issue came with the service, I got an exasperated sigh when I kept ordering pastry’s , and once I opened the bag, they didn’t even give me what I asked for. (Ordered about 8 things for the family) half of them were either missing or the wrong thing, which was really sad. The staffs attitudes were cold, and quite judgmental.
Love this bakery/coffee shop! Good variety of food choices and the pastries are amazing!

I bought a delicious baguette, a croissant. And a danish with cream cheese and apples. Looked like a busy welcoming place. The woman at the take out cashier was unfriendly and almost rude. For such a nice place with delicious baked goods I was surprised at how unwelcoming the staff was!
