If you're ever in the area, don't miss Pete's Griddle! Prices are unbeatable, and more importantly the food is amazing.
The weather outside was frigid but the staff couldn't have been more warm, friendly, and efficient.
Come hungry, because you'll get served enough to fuel a whole day on the mountain slope! I had the biscuit and sausage gravy, and it was so good I went back the next day for pancakes.
There's plenty of parking too, so you've got no excuse not to stop in on your next trip through Bethel!

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had. Home fries were my favorite. Nice and crispy all around

Pete’s Griddle is an absolute gem! Breakfast there is delicious! My family ( including baby cousins) dined in and what an atmosphere! Kind staff, and just the perfect place to get a classic Sunday morning breakfast! ? ?

Service was fantastic, space is lovely, and the food came out fast and hot. Everything was tasty. Best of all, my entire breakfast, with a soda, was only $16. Fantastic value for high-quality foods. I wish they were open right now for lunch.

So hello all. If you travel to Bethel, Ma. there is a variety of things to do, but we are here for the food sooo. Pete's Griddle, not so impressed. 3/4 of the meal was severed while 3 of us waited for an additional 6 to 8 min for our food. Egg' s were cold, and sausage was rubber. Pancakes were overdone and had no flavor. I could go on about the food sooo. Decor was nice. Service was a miss but did leave a tip, sorry not 15%! 70$ for 4 of us, but because I spoke to the waitress, they took off 30$.

Good competition for crossroads diner. Love the location in the old Rooster building. Better choice of cheeses than crossroad and the sausage gravy is very tasty.

We stumbled on Pete’s on our way back from Rangeley. It was 9:00 on a Sunday morning. It was reasonably busy but we were seated right away. There were traditional, home style breakfast offerings, which is what we were looking for. Everything was very fresh and tasty and the food came out fairly quickly. A miracle in this day of reduced restaurant staffing (through no fault of the owners). We enjoyed our meal and would return the next time we are in the Bethel area. I’m glad we found Pete’s!

We had a wonderful experience at Pete’s! Our server was a nice gentleman who was kind and attentive and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the pancakes to anyone reading this, some of the best I’ve had in a while. We’ll definitely be back!
