LOVE this place! The wings and clam chowder were amazing. Environment is so laid back and chill. Staff is very friendly and serviceable. They have live music on weekends which is also pretty cool! Definitely a good spot for some drinks and music on a Friday or Saturday night.

This place is a downstairs bar with a lot of additional seating. Cozy. Food is much better than typical bar food. Tap list is good. Clam chowder is great. Had excellent mussels. My fish and chips were fresh and had an excellent crunchy

Great little pub! We had a great meal and a couple of cold drinks. Hubs had pizza and I got the Shepards pie. Both delicious. Great service too!

I am a pub kind of guy! And this one did not disappoint! We came in for dinner after a long day of lounging on a rainy day in December. The pub is located in the basement of the Sudsbury Inn. The pub was crowded, but the atmosphere was laid-back and pretty chill. We were greeted and sat after about 5 minutes. Big wood tables, a large bar in the middle of the space, and a stage and dance floor. We all got drinks. I especially loved the Pabst Blue Ribbon $2.50 draft special! Everyone of the 5 of us enjoyed their meals. We had the baked Haddock (2 orders). Nicely done and served with rice and veggies. (We had one made gluten free without the bread crumbs.) I had the Carnivore pizza. I have to say, I am from NY and a bit of a pizza snob, but the pizza was surprisingly good. The small pie was more than enough for me and to share. Crust was great, perfectly cooked and topped with ham, pepperoni and sausage. We also had the veggie burrito (which was huge and loaded with cheese on the outside!). We added grilled chicken. My son had the haddock sandwich, which he loved and the sweet potato fries, which were excellent. I would have liked a maple dip.The service was excellent and friendly. A live musician played a couple of sets while we were there and we thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment, food and atmosphere of the pub. This may become our go to place when we come back!Vegetarian options: Veggie burrito was HUGE!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options and accommodations were made.

I honestly think this pub used their last portion of lobster meat and split it in two in order to accommodate our order. We’ve been all over New England this weekend and this was just shameful

Casual pub with friendly staff, good food at moderate prices. Good for gatherings of friends & family

So we ended up at Sud's Pub to finish off the night, & it was a relief. Shotgun review: - Below ground* - Cozy, warmly lit - Big tables, good for groups - Excellent live music - Sunken bar, so bar seats are normal seat height - Lisa, the server, is amazing - hilarious & joyful - Delicious, house-made desserts - Bar fruit is kept nice & chilly** - Cheerful owner, Bobby, who is present & happy to chat with customers Friendly staff but also friendly patrons, which is an excellent indicator of the vibe that Sud's Pub begets. I could absolutely envision returning in my snow pants & snowboard boots & cozying up on one of the benches with a hot toddy. In fact, I fully intend to. *Note that since this place is underground, there is absolutely NO service. I repeat: NO CELLPHONE SERVICE! **This might seem like the strangest observation, but when you're taking tequila shots with a bachelorette party, biting into an ice cold lime afterwards is an amazing feeling.

We're from way out of town. Got a takeout pizza. Best @$# pizza I've had in decades. I'm no pizza expert but I think they must have made the dough themselves, picked the tomatoes out back, and got the cheese from a local cow or two, besides using actual fresh mushrooms.Overate and I don't regret it. The 29-minute wait (which they warned me about) was well worth it.

Old school pub with a great crowd and live music Thursday Night. I got a pizza and chili - both wicked good. Wife was loving her salmon. Menu was huge and everything that passed by looked bomb. You could tell alot of regulars and can see why.

I should have known when I asked a local if we should eat here and she said, ‘no’. My husband and I sat at the bar and ordered some drinks and two meals: 1) soup and fries 2) a veggie burrito. The soup and fries came out promptly, but it took 30 minutes to receive my husband’s burrito. The bartender apologized, and basically said “it happened to others and we were not alone”.Bottom line….drinks are strong and I recommend. Food is mediocre at best and your family might be eating at the table at different times. Drink here yes, but eat before you come in.
