Walked in at 7:45. There was a customer waiting for food. I looked at the menu for 20 seconds and was about to order. Guy by the oven exclaims joyfully “I’m shutting this down and no one can stop meeeee!” Other, bearded gentleman with glasses says, “No hot food dude,” to me. Glad to see that an ‘I don’t give a shit about my job, business or its customers’ attitude is alive and well here. I hope you gentlemen made the best of the 3 minutes added to the beginning of your evening gained by losing my business. As a customer I’m annoyed just enough to say something. As a business owner—I would be taking a good, long look in the mirror at the culture that I have allowed to develop within my business.

Love Amatos, Food is always correct, I often get extras and they never disappoint. The staff are Awesome!!! (I. Only go-to the Amatos in Biddeford). Great little dine in area. LOVE IT! No matter what I have ever ordered there, it has been fantastic

I generally get an Italian from your Saco location, but the other day, after going to Walmart in Biddeford, I stopped at the Biddeford store and ordered a large original Italian to have for lunch when I got home. When I took it out of the bag, my first thought was how thin and light (weight wise) it was. After unwrapping it, I realized that this sub was indeed lacking! There were no olives, and as for the other veggies, it was almost like they were an afterthought, there were so few. Now I ALWAYS order the sub with everything, oil on the side. This skimpy Italian was the biggest disappointment I have ever had from Amato’s. I will never order from this location again.

I am only here to leave a review about the staff. Customer service is NOT dead! They are absolutely wonderful. Very polite, quick to correct, receptive to concerns/mistakes. They accidentally made my sandwich wrong. I brought it up, and they fixed it right away. Very very nice staff.

12pm is break for almost everyone. You would think they’d be prepared. How is a 30+ minute wait after pre ordering the sandwich? It’s frustrating. I couldn’t wait. And this is happening every time I try to go.
I’m sure you lose business over this.
I’ll be back but I hope this issue stops.
