This was a wonderful place. We were in town visiting and they took us to Batson. We had a great light meal with a craft beer. We ended the evening sitting in front of the fireplace enjoying a fantastic cocktail. A special shout-out to Alana and Lily.

This is a super vibey place. The food was good and reasonably priced. The mussels and burger were delicious. The Game room is sweet too.

Atmosphere was great, loved the decor, and our server was very nice.
My only complaint was the Batson Burger. I ordered it because it has Boursin on it, which I love and had never tried on a burger. Apparently, they can only cook this burger to medium or medium well and it was incredibly bland. I took two bites and didn't touch the rest or bother taking it to go. A cheap $2 McDonalds cheeseburger has more flavor. The fries were alright, a bit overly salty, and the sad highlight of the dish was the lone deli pickle on the side. 😂
The person I was with loved the Duck Confit Poutine though, so maybe I just unlucky and picked one of the weaker menu items. Kinda crazy a $20 burger isn't even up to par with the most basic fast food though.

Ben to this location a couple of times. Each time our food was good not quite great but definitely good. Food was good enough that we took leftovers home and finished them. So that’s saying something. Would have to say the best part is: atmosphere, in-house beers, and the apps And shareable side Dishes. Our server was excellent this past time, however, we have had mixed experiences over the last year. Location is beautiful would be a great Spot for a family meal or dinner with the parents

We stayed in the hotel for the weekend, and went to Batson River 1 night for dinner and 1 night for drinks and dessert, enjoyed everything on both visits. The restaurant itself is amazing and the food and drinks were wonderful. Whoopie flight is a must! Service was great both visits. We have visited the Batson River location in Portland and had a similar great experience.

We had our wedding welcome party at Batson Biddeford and we had the BEST time!! The staff that worked our event were incredibly kind, attentive, and FUN! A manager found us shortly after we arrived and talked us through their plans for the evening and brought everything we needed to know to our attention. We booked the dining room, which is located in the middle of the restaurant. We were not disturbed by other restaurant guests, we didn't feel like we were sharing the space, it was beautiful and so many of our guests told us how much they loved the venue.
I thought the food package we ordered would be on the lighter side so we encouraged our guests to eat dinner ahead of time. Turns out, there was plenty of food and it was awesome! The food was a hit and filled everyone’s bellies! We also appreciated the gluten-free options and the safety measures taken by the chef. My celiac family LOVED the gnocchi! It was important to us that they had food options and felt safe at the same time. Batson accomplished that, so thank you very much!
Long story short, the whole party was way better than we expected!! We can’t thank you enough!! My new husband and I, and all of our guests, had a great great time!

The atmosphere at Batson River Brewing & Distilling in Biddeford is incredible - tucked under the Lincoln Hotel, it’s perfectly themed and makes for a really memorable setting.
Unfortunately, the service didn’t quite match the ambiance. Our server was noticeably dismissive throughout dinner and came across as slightly rude when we asked simple questions about the menu and the restaurant.
The food itself was good, but nothing that really wowed me. Overall, it’s a beautiful place to have a drink and a meal, but I wish the hospitality had lived up to the amazing setting.

Baston River is my go to for a good cocktail and their brewed selection is amazing. Cristal is always a pleasure when visiting as is the whole staff

This was our fourth time checking out Batson River and this time, we decided to sit at the gorgeous bar; The drinks were beautiful but it was the service that took it over the top! Keller is an incredible bartender and representative for this place! Not only are we coming back, we’re bringing friends!!
