I had lunch here yesterday for the first time, looking for a chirashi bowl. They didn’t have that as an option on the sushi menu, but my waiter was very accommodating! I can’t eat tuna, and they were able to substitute the tuna sashimi with more of my two favorites: mackerel and salmon. The mackerel was lightly torched and SO GOOD! They made up a nice sashimi arrangement with some sushi rice. Miso soup and a starter salad with the classic ginger dressing came first, which was a nice surprise.

It was OK, but not great. The steak in my wife's beef lo mein was very grisly. I ordered the Mongolian beef what's the menu said was sliced ribeye steak. However, when I received my dish it was one piece of steak. When I asked the waitress about it she admitted she didn't know the menu nor how my meal was supposed to come. The beef bulgogi which I did not order did not mention that it was sliced. I wanted to make sure that I was getting the right meal. Additionally, my meal was supposed to come with rice and I had to ask for that. The waitress was pleasant but not very attentive at times

This may be my harshest critique yet and my worst experience with a to go order. This was my first time ordering here and I had compared it to the Kobe Japanese Grill from my hometown in Tampa. Let me tell you, this was NOTHING like it. This was an absolutely waste of money. So let’s clear some things up. Attached to my review is a picture of my to go “chicken hibachi” that cost $23. For starters, the online menu when ordering does not state the chicken will come in whole tender strip form or that no noodles would be included. My meal was just a watery mess. Upon further read after I received my meal, the direct menu from dining in the restaurant states you will only receive noodles for Dine In only. So why am I paying $23 for a to go item that gives me less food when I could pay the same for dining in & get more food?? The food lacked flavor, lacked any sort of “grill” or sautee and was just a sloppy steamy watery mess in my to go box. The yum yum sauce is also not true yum yum. Very disappointed in this experience and would never waste my money here again. **I also attached a picture of the bento box (which is what I thought my chicken for hibachi would look like) & the last picture for reference is to what I am used to my hibachi looking like**

The waitress Aliyah is a very kind soul and I enjoyed her presence. The food was spectacular I would come here again if michael would let me. Quick service and the atmosphere was great too. Aliyah the goat lowkey. The appetizer soup was very good i liked it. Aliyah was amazing and deserves a raise she was very funny and nice. The food was very yummy and warmed me to my core! Great establishment!!!

CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY!!! Let me start off by saying the chef was amazing, he was fun and interactive and gave my autistic son a lot of attention which warmed my heart. I did tip him $30 personally for that. Food was alright but not as good as it use to be. Rice was dry, filet was all fat and chewy. Sadly a few of us got stomach aches after dinner. Waitress brought drinks but never refills. She was kinda lousy. Fast forward to bill time they give you the check and quickly take it back with your card to run it through. They automatically take a tip out which is 20% and then add on the bill for you to personally tip and has the percentages and amounts then it says tips will be split with chef. The way they do it is super sneaky though, I felt super rushed to give my card and she just ran off. I really didn’t have time to look it over. (My fault I should not have let her rush me) We had an elderly couple who missed that they took the tip and then tipped again. Double tipping. If you’re going to automatically take a tip then you should not also be requesting a tip. Our bill was $300 all together. They automatically took $60 for their tip, and then the elderly couple gave a $30 tip and I tipped the chef $30 that’s $120 tip on a $300 bill. Just seemed sleazy. Maybe mention they do automatic tips. Idk but we won’t be going back.
