Koi Asian Cuisine Reviews
RUN!!!!!!! (Raw chicken, fake reviews, shady website)
Just moved to the area, wanted Chinese food so we went with Koi Asian Cuisine. My girlfriend and I ordered delivery. First off the website is super shady, secondly the delivery was very slow, when we called to get an estimated delivery time after 40 minutes (the place is less than a mile away). The lady had to get the manager to give us an estimated and said she would call back. About 10-15 minutes go by and no call back,...read full review
I have been a regular at this restaurant for a long time & always enjoyed their food. Last time I ordered from them, the order took an hour to show up, & then last night I placed an order online... Not even 10 minutes later I received a call from a very rude lady saying that if I had any issues with my almost 90 dollar order, that I would be banned from the restaurant because she's "not paying for my food." this was completely uncalled for and very very unprofessional. Koi Asian Cuisine offers a diverse menu of Asian-inspired dishes, though some reviews suggest room for improvement. The vegetable spring rolls are praised as delicious, if a bit oily, while the Rainbow Maki and Singapore noodles receive excellent reviews. The moo shi dish and egg rolls are also highly rated, with some customers calling them a solid 10. However, the fried foods, such as the tempura, are described as overly greasy. The restaurant has an extensive sushi menu, and many say they’ve never had a bad meal.
The calamari is critiqued for being too large and battered, with a recommendation to serve it with a marinara or lemon aioli sauce instead of the current "KOI special sauce." The chicken pad thai is faulted for lacking sweetness, spice, and the expected nut sauce. The cashew chicken is also panned, with the dish containing peanuts instead of cashews and an undesirable texture.
Customer service receives mixed feedback—some praise the restaurant’s responsiveness, while others note unprofessional behavior from staff, like failing to greet customers. Despite this, many appreciate the food quality and plan to return. Koi Asian Cuisine excels in sushi and noodle dishes but could refine its fried offerings and improve front-of-house service.
