My girlfriend and I finally tried this hidden gem yesterday night and could not recommend it more! The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic - and the menu was very reasonably priced for the quality of the food and portion sizes. Laken was fantastic; she had a great knowledge of the menu and dishes, and offered informed suggestions for dishes/drinks to try and the components of each plate. We did not have a reservation so we did a walk-in and sat on the outside patio, which was comfortable and private. Looking forward to trying the fall menu and coming back again.

We live nearby in Kennebunk but this was our first visit to Magnus. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Food was artfully prepared and delicious and surprising. Some new combination of flavors in most of the dishes and all of them were excellent! We will be back.

The patio is always something to look forward to. The occasional revving motorcycle aside, it is a peaceful oasis. The cocktails are always a highlight as are the yuca fries. The dishes are imaginative and I wish we were with more people to share them all. We had the mackerel and the eggplant which were both delicious and satisfying. Can't wait to go back!

Don’t let this smaller menu fool you. Every course was unbelievable and also don’t skip the dessert. The rice pudding dessert was fantastic. In our group of 4 adults we were all so happy with our meals and would go back again in a heartbeat. This restaurant is misleading from the outside. You can’t see how pretty it is until you go in. The customer service here is also top notch. Don’t hesitate to come here. I’ve already recommended it to so many people.
