Great service. Sat at their beautiful bar. Cocktails were top notch. A true cocktail bar with staff passionate about their creations and happy to share with you about each of them. Food was great and moderately priced. We had the chicken katsu sandwich and added a small order of yuca fries - both fantastic. This place is a hidden gem and definitely a nice upscale option for downtown Biddeford - nice to get big city cocktail creations but so close to home in town. We will be back soon.

This is our second time at Magnus and, like the first, we had a fantastic meal. The service here is great. Drinks are about the best we've had. Had a lot of fun at the bar talking to other diners. I highly recommend this restaurant.

You can never go wrong at Magnus. We have been many times and they always continue to impress. Service is casual but excellent, cocktails are always amazing and the food is always changing and fun! If you haven't been you are missing out! The decor is very cool and original!

Another wonderful experience! It was a quiet Sunday evening and the ambiance was perfect! Cherie remembered our previous visits, that we preferred Sancerre wine, and showed us two she had chosen for us to select - we selected the 2023 DomAine de Rome and it was incredible. Of course the food was great. My wife had the Branzino and I, the ribs and beans. we shared appetizers oc Yuka fries and charred leftuce. Alk was excellent, perfectly prepared, and judicioysly seasoned with Peruvian spices. We are fortunate to ha e this gem in Biddeford, may it continue forever! Bruce A

lovely restaurant near the river. Tastefully decorated and nice atmosphere. the service was excellent and helpful. The food was amazing as were the specialty cocktails. Would recommend going !

While the food and drinks were tasty and well prepared there were only 3 main courses chicken pork and lobster roll. They were out of the chicken though it was about 2 hrs before closing. Since we don't eat pork and didn't come to an innovative restaurant to get a lobster roll we decided to order 4 appetizers. But the portions were so small that we had to cap off the evening with a chicken sandwich at Wendy's just to fill our stomachs. Similarly, while our cocktails were delicious they were so small neither of us got a buzz. So while we can't argue with the quality, the selection and value were so poor it ruined our meal.

I never leave reviews but WOW! I have been coming to Biddeford since I was a kid and always loved the local spots. But, this was a gem.. my boyfriend and I were coming back from old orchard pretty late, and needed to find a spot open past 9. We looked around and called different places, they were the only ones who were so nice. I worked in the restaurant industry, so I know it is irritating to be the customers who come in last. But, we were so hungry!! When we got there, we apologized because their kitchen was 30 min from closing. They said it’s no problem and were so kind. By the time we sat down, we ordered quick. We had Scott as our waiter, and WOW at his service. He was awesome, informative, energetic! On top of amazing service, we had the BEST chicken sandwiches of our lives. It is a smaller menu but everything is a chef’s kiss perfect!! We just had beers and the cold glasses were the end to a perfect night. Thank you!! If you come here it will be worth it.

Great restaurant! Both the food cocktails were creative and delicious (their sauces are amazing), and the service was wonderful. It was our anniversary, and they brought us two glasses of champagne to celebrate! We'll be coming back soon.
I sat at the bar for a late dinner which was lovely. The food was stupendous, flavorful without overwhelming the palette. I had gotten the papa huancaina and the katsu chicken, both were delish. The chicken had a wonderful crunch without being dry, and the huancaina was soo yummy I practically licked the plate. I had order a mini cocktail which was also yum. The staff was incredible lad back in the most professional way. 5 out of 5 DELISH!!

Magnus on Water is a gem. We are foodies and loved this place. It was the best meal we had this summer. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful. The food was really outstanding....some different fusions of flavors thanks to the Peruvian chef. It was so nice to enjoy new flavors in a lovely outdoor setting. Also, great value for money. All the dishes were outstanding but we really enjoyed the unique preparation of the Maine oysters with rhubarb wine accompaniment. We will be back and recommend with confidence.
