The owner here is a delightful person who received professional above-and-beyond training and is very passionate about the art of roasting coffee beans.

Their baked goods are also made in-house! Which I was delighted to discover.

Their cafe offerings are more focused on quality-centric drinks, less on variety or ‘fun’ drink concoctions — which I prefer, personally. When there are flavor shots, they use Monin syrups, a step above Torani. It would be nice if someday they made their own syrups in-house!

I’m slowly trying all their coffee blends, which are also available in bulk at the storefront (you can also buy the bags at the IGA in Wells).

Supporting a women-owned business is reason enough to earn my loyalty, but the love of the craft shines through in their products as well. I would definitely support this local business.

It feels like this place is a secret and it shouldn’t be. My absolute favorite coffee in the state, also where our family buys our coffee for home. Don’t miss out!!

Had an eggnog latte and maple almond scone. The scone was perfect- not too dry, not too sweet. Latte was so good. $9+ for both

Maine Coast Roast Cafe: A Maine Gem!
Maine Coast Roast Cafe is a quintessential Maine find. This local business in Biddeford, boasts a genuine charm that starts with their commitment to crafting the perfect cup. they roast their own coffee beans and deliver a flavor profile that’s as fresh as a coastal breeze.
Their scones and cookies are an absolute must-try. Flaky, buttery, and bursting with flavor, these treats are the perfect complement to your morning brew.
The cafe itself is a welcoming space with friendly staff. Ample parking makes it a convenient stop for locals and tourists alike. If you're in Maine, do yourself a favor and try a cup at the East Coast Roast Cafe.

Recently purchased MCR Sea Cottage medium roast on a whim at Barber Brothers in South Portland. Not exaggerating when I say it is delicious. Every cup. Not inexpensive, but worth it to have that one great cup of coffee to start the day off right.

Fresh-roasted coffee and quality coffee drinks, what's not to like? Like I usually do, I sampled a latte with a shot on the side. The espresso suited my tastes much more than other recent stops, and the latte was predictably good. (I got a maple one, and it tasted more like pancake syrup than proper maple, but that's *not* a bad thing for me. It was like going out for pancakes. I believe the menu even says "pancake maple". No complaints, and it's just how the flavor syrup is.) I took a bag of whole bean with me, and while I haven't tried it yet I'm sure it will be great - I've not had a honey-processed roast before. Parking here was very easy, and the shop is spacious with a decent amount of seating and a clean bathroom.

Parking: Plenty of spaces in front of the building. Unlike downtown this is very easy to visit.

Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is a ramp from the side of the building. Appears to be fully accessible.

Utterly fantastic coffee shop tucked away in the outskirts of town. The roaster knows absolutely everything about her products and is a joy to learn from.
