Maine Coffee Roast is located inside an older brick industrial building near train tracks which adds to the charm of the business. The founder/owner, Holly, is one of the nicest and most talented people you'll ever meet, and a passionate and dedicated roaster. Each roast is like a newborn child to her. My husband loves the coffee and will now only buy local roasts. We stopped by today, a national holiday, but the retail store was closed. Holly saw us poking around outside and graciously let us inside. Monday is the day she fulfills wholesale orders and she offered to brew a cup for my husband, but we didn't want to distract from her work. It turns out that Maine Coffee Roast supplies the coffee to both Two Fat Cats, my all time favorite pie maker, and Sur Lie, where we just had dinner. The coffee is outstanding and if you are on the way to Portland, stop by and visit Maine Coffee Roast in Biddeford . BTW, Biddeford has some really cool retail and dining concepts!

Fresh-roasted coffee and quality coffee drinks, what's not to like? Like I usually do, I sampled a latte with a shot on the side. The espresso suited my tastes much more than other recent stops, and the latte was predictably good. (I got a maple one, and it tasted more like pancake syrup than proper maple, but that's *not* a bad thing for me. It was like going out for pancakes. I believe the menu even says "pancake maple". No complaints, and it's just how the flavor syrup is.) I took a bag of whole bean with me, and while I haven't tried it yet I'm sure it will be great - I've not had a honey-processed roast before. Parking here was very easy, and the shop is spacious with a decent amount of seating and a clean bathroom.Parking: Plenty of spaces in front of the building. Unlike downtown this is very easy to visit.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is a ramp from the side of the building. Appears to be fully accessible.

Utterly fantastic coffee shop tucked away in the outskirts of town. The roaster knows absolutely everything about her products and is a joy to learn from.

Really well brewed espresso. The style is roasty, mellow, and not bitter. Lotta volume for a double espresso too!The beans available to buy skew towards a darker roast.Parking: Plenty of parking.

This is not hyperbole - their iced oat milk latte is the best latte I’ve ever had. Perfect coffee to milk ratio, just delicious. Highly recommend. Oh and great smoothies too!

Best Roastery and little coffee shop I've ever experienced! Very knowledgeable staff and owners. Homemade buttermilk scones, muffins and excellent smoothies. Always greeted with a smile! Prices are surprisingly low! It's a hidden gem in Biddeford!!!?Vegetarian options: They offer oat or almond milk as well as skim or whole milk for your coffee, lattes or smoothies.Kid-friendliness: Home made cookies and donuts are a big hit with the kids. Fruit and berry smoothies are also available. The owner will happily split the smoothie into two cups for young kids to share at no extra cost. They even have quality dog biscuits for sale for your fur babies.Parking: The Roastery began as a boutique wholesale coffee supplier to many Maine coastal businesses. So their cafe is located in an industrial type building where the owner is still roasting her beans daily. There is a huge parking lot with plenty of spaces and a ramp to get into the front door.Wheelchair accessibility: The front door of the Roastery is accessed only by a gentle ramp up onto the café.
