Our server was the nicest woman ever!! So sweet and attentive. Genuinely a nice lady. Food was good and queso was fantastic.

Being from Texas on our way up the coast, we were skeptical of a Mexican restaurant. We decided to stop and weren’t disappointed. Great appetizers and salsas (make sure you buy some salsa to take home while you’re here) and the entrees were good.

For a quick trip or a long stay, this fantastic authentic restaurant is top-notch, I highly recommend.

We were seating quick and promt. Drinks fast, Appetizer came out fast. We got the Chori-Queso and it was great! Super fresh and made with real cheese vs. cheap velveeta. Only down fall is we thought the Chorizo could have been drained to stop the pool of grease on the top.Husband judges a places by its burrito and they did not disappoint. He got the Carne Asada and it was a large portion enough to feed a hungry man.I got the steak fajitas and they were delicious. My only complaint was the tiny corn tortillas it came with but the waitness quickly gave me warm flour tortillas to make me happy.Overall, nice job guys!!

Came in with girlfriend for lunch, server was rude, and the food was poor quality and had no flavor.

Had the chicken fajitas. The chicken was dry and subpar quality. The guacamole was good . The rice was good. The tortillas were most likely store bought.I’m hoping it was an off night. But it was also not busy on a Monday night 7pm. I think they were short staffed tonight too.

Came early, its was quiet and the wait was nonexistent. Nice and cool on this hot day. The atmosphere was soothing and unrushed. The selections were plentiful and any questions i had were answered and actually helped me chose something i would have never ever considered. The burrito bowl was filled all the way to the tpp. The Chipotle chicken , tender, right amount of seasoning, vegetables were fresh, crispy, combined with the rice and beans and cheese and jabanero sauce, finished almost the whole thing by myself. The blood orange margarita was spectacular, just the right amount of tequila and blood orange, on the rocks lightly salted...perfection.

Kid-friendliness: I had my 3 - and 5 year old granddaughters with me, and the person who waited on us was great with them. There were plenty of choices for them also.

The food is terrible. I had my high hopes but the food was not edible. We were a party of 13 and more the. Half of us did not finish our food. Good service but food was the worst I have ever had. Sadly we don’t have much Mexican places around

Lovely atmosphere and they cover all the basics vergy well. Clean and affordable with great customer service.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly as we had our two month old with us and they were very accommodating to us with our bassonnette.

Oof. What a terrible experience. My boyfriend and I went into Mi Pueblo for dinner. I was skeptical when a restaurant was so empty at 6 PM in the summer, but we decided to try it anyway. We had high hopes when we got the menu, and were even more excited by the delicious margaritas, but those hopes were soon dashed. We got chips and salsa, choriqueso, elote, a beef quesadilla and carnitas enchiladas. The choriqueso was bizarre: the cheese was only partially melted and was not at all liquid. It made it incredibly difficult to scoop on a chip, and was unlike any other choriqueso I have experienced. I am also convinced that the meat on top was not actually chorizo, as it had no flavor and all the oil seemed to be coming from the cheese alone. It tasted more like bland ground pork. The dip is served in a cast iron dish with a plate underneath, so one would assume that it is served fresh out of the oven, however, the cast iron dish was cool to the touch when it came out, which would explain why the cheese was not melted. The elote was more burnt than charred, and the lime powder was overwhelming. It was salvageable, but not what you want.My boyfriend's quesadilla was... fine. The beef was shredded and tender, but had very little seasoning. It tasted more like pot roast than anything, and the cheese was also lacking in flavor. The sour cream was room temperature, and tasted like it had been rehydrated from a powder. We ordered the medium salsa, and while it had a good kick, did not have much flavor behind it.Worst of all were my enchiladas, though. The carnitas must have been days old: dry, mealy, and bland. The sauce on top tasted more like a poor marinara than enchilada sauce. The garnish looked fresh, which is the only positive I have. The rice was also an odd texture — it ate more like quinoa than rice, somehow simultaneously under and over cooked, and it was also very bland.I will say that the margaritas are delicious (the blood orange was especially wonderful) and not a terrible price. Our waitress was pleasant, and the man who greeted and seated us was very friendly. The service, atmosphere and drinks are great, but the food is so bad that it doesn't make it worth going in.

Bartender/Waiter was excellent but food is bland and came out cold. Waiter made margarita, tasted like water. I'm hispanic and know what it should taste like.Sad. Atmosphere and staff were excellent Gave it a 2 star. Need a chef to elevate the food.:(

My family and I had a fantastic meal at Mi Pueblo while on vacation in Old Orchard. The service, food, and tequila selection were all superb, and the chef/owner even came out to say hi to the table. Highly recommend.

I asked the manager what I should order and he recommended the pork. It was excellent. Chips and salsa also very good.

Stopped in to Mi Pueblo on a Wednesday morning for an early lunch on the road. Was looking to support a local business with authentic Mexican food, and was not disappointed. The bartender helped me right away — I asked what he recommended, and he said, “anything with pork.” I ordered the pork burrito to take in my car — it was out within 10 minutes and I was on the road again. The bathrooms and bar were spotless and freshly cleaned. The service was congenial and quick. The burrito was delicious (pictures included). One caveat for the driving diner — plan for burrito juice/grease! My sleeve was a little damp, but more than worth it. 5+ stars, Mi Pueblo!
