Funky little diner...read they had the BEST burger in all ME. It was a great burger but since I have not tried every ME burger I cant vote. Note...double burger and fries were $21 so not cheap...did I mention the fries were great...crispy on the outside and cooked on the inside

Diner experience, but perfected. The food is just as good as you’ve heard! The eggs were delicate and flavorful, bacon cooked better than I’ve ever had, smashed red potatos crispy and soft. I was very impressed by the coffee too. Locally roasted, ground to brew. The space is beautiful and the bathroom was immaculate. I found myself saying “wow this is delicious” over and over. Found you thanks to “Somebody Feed Phil” and so glad I did!

The Palace Diner is phenomenal. I don't do reviews often, and hardly ever a 5 star. Everything is done exceptionally so the limited menu is not an issue, it is the catalyst. I will be back to try more items and am confident I will be as impressed as I have been.
Parking: The local free lot is public parking shared with other area businesses.
Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately I don't think there is wheelchair access. It is an almost hundred year old train car diner.

Worth the wait! Meghan was a delight! The banana bread was quite possibly a religious experience. All the food was delicious. ? our vibe. Loved the congenial atmosphere. It’s counter seating only, so be prepared to chill while you’re waiting. They’ll text when you’re up! Unfortunately we came without a reservation, as there were few seats, we would have had to wait an hour. It's a shame because it looked very original and the food smelled great. Unfortunately, since we had children with us, we couldn't wait an hour and looked for something else?
