It’s my first time working in Maine and was told to check this place out! I owe that person a sandwich! This lobster roll was amazing! I have not had a properly prepared lobster before this, I see what the rage is all about! They cook this lobster perfectly, and place it on the best roll. Right amount of mayo, lettuce, and topped with warm butter. I have a new favorite sandwich!
It had been a long time since I last got some lobster rolls at the market. Tonight was my grandmother's 80+ birthday and that's what she wanted. The staff was very nice to accommodate her special requests. Thank you and I hope to stop by in good time for another.
We did an internet search for lobster rolls while here in Portland, Maine, and came across a quirky little listing that's basically a convenience store that also sells sandwiches and chowder, including the infamous lobster rolls. It's about 30 minutes from Portland, but we wanted to drive around anyway. And it was well worth it. We both got the Deluxe for $14.95 and it was stuffed with lobster on a wonderful soft roll.
