This place was the perfect landing!!! We stumbled upon it unexpectedly after our go to date night place was on a 30 minute wait.
We were starving and on a time crunch so we googled maps and The Dunn Bar popped up with good reviews. The bartender was the highlight of our night but of course the food countered…
She was friendly and knew how to shake a cocktail to please anyone’s palate. I was pleasantly surprised with my first drink a Deep Eddies Ruby Red Grapefruit Lemon Drop!!! Almost finished it in the first sip “ not due to size”!!! Simply because of the taste perfectly balanced with lemon chello tart & sweet… wanted many more but had to stop myself because of my night ahead. The Food!!! I had the classic Cornbeef Ruben absolute perfection so happy to have the other half for later… Hand cut fries that they serve with were unbelievable. Perfect portion and the way they cook them is definitely unforgettable.
Atmosphere was inviting with its own unique ambiance. I would have felt just as comfortable in jeans and a hoodie or dressed up for a special date night out with no kids…
No matter when our next night out is going to we are most definitely landing at 2 bar stools to the left when we walk in The Dunn Bar!!! Thanks for a genuine good night out!!

The Dunn Bar is my local. Owners and Staff are really nice people. The clientele are friendly, diverse and a great mix of local Maine and beyond. Good food, nice location and plenty of parking in downtown Biddeford. 5-stars!

I went to dinner there tonight with two friends. The food was AWESOME!!! This resturant is one of Biddefords hidden gems. We talked with the owners and their daughter was our waitress. Great family. I had the baked haddock and fries with carrots. All great. My friends had the Shepards pie and the other the lamb shank. All excellent. We will be going there again soon!

TBD Connections held its annual Holiday Event last night at The Dunn Bar Irish Pub, and it was an incredible evening! I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Elaine, Chris, and the entire staff for their exceptional hospitality. The food and drinks were outstanding, and the service was both friendly and attentive.
The event was made even more special with entertainment by Comedian Gabe Perez and the fun-filled Mirastar photo booth, expertly set up by Colby Michaud. Everyone had a fantastic time, and the atmosphere was perfect for our celebration.
If you're planning an event, I highly recommend The Dunn Bar Irish Pub—they truly go above and beyond to make any occasion memorable.

I went for the first time last night for an event. Had the Irish nachos with gravy, bacon and green onions. It was fantastic. Also tried the corn beef and Swiss sandwich, which was also fantastic. Great local place to grab a bite to eat.

Who makes a pot pie without a crust? I had a bowl of mushy chicken gravy with mashed potatoes on it and they called it pot pie. Did not remotely resemble photo online. Hope they refund my money and either take it off the menu or learn to make it. Owned a restaurant for 23 years and this is not how to do it.

The atmosphere is very good. It is often busy when I visit. The service is always friendly and attentive. Howecer, the price point is unusually high for the menu items, so the value for money really isn't there. There are good or higher quality options in the area for a better price.

A large group of us go out to dinner regularly. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Kudos to the owners! First of all, the place is spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Welcoming was the theme of the night. It is not easy to serve 12 people with several individual checks. Here it was seamless. Service was fabulous. Their selection of specialty drinks was really interesting and inspired some to try new things. Beer on tap was a great variety. Food was all cooked to order from fresh ingredients and very well done. The entree pies were picture worthy. More than ample servings for everything ordered. Those who had desserts made everyone else jealous, if only we had the room after such a great meal. Truly, this was a fantastic evening. Thank you!

The Dunn Bar is under new ownership and is run pretty well. The food is amazing. I got the fish and chips and the haddock was perfect. No fishy smell and the batter was light. The coleslaw tasted freshly made. My mom ordered the bangers and mash, which was equally as tasty. Food is 10/10. We also each order drinks (an Irish coffee and Ma Dunn’s Mai Tai) which were 100% on point.
Our server, Emily, could have been better. Forgot to put in our appetizer (which we were looking forward to). She also brought our check over without offering takeout boxes, any refills on drinks or seeing if we wanted dessert. When she did come to our table, she seemed less than thrilled to have customers.
The atmosphere here is really good. The front room is really loud, as that’s where the main bar is, but the second room is quieter and perfect for families with small kids or a nice date. It’s painted a warm, dark pumpkin spice colour which is comforting and doesn’t hurt the eyes.
Honestly, we’ll come back in hopes we don’t have the same server. The traditional Irish food is so delicious and there’s so much more I want to try, especially the Irish Brunch on the weekends.
